WWE taped this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw from the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. Big thanks to Marcus Christie for sending in live reports from tonight’s show.
– A special edition of Miz TV kicked off the show featuring Raw general manager Kurt Angle as the guest. The Miz blamed Angle for making him stay until the end of Raw last week, and being attacked by Braun Strowman. Kurt booked Miz vs. Strowman for later tonight.
(1) Jason Jordan def. Elias in a Guitar on a Pole match.
(2) Asuka def. a local jobber in a quick squash match.
– Samoa Joe was scheduled to face Titus O’Neil but came out and attacked him before the match. He demanded some real competition and issued an open challenge, which was answered by Finn Balor!
(3) Samoa Joe and Finn Balor fought to a no-contest.
– Kurt Angle came out and announced that both Samoa Joe and Finn Balor would be part of Team Raw for Survivor Series.
– In a backstage segment, Kurt Angle names his “son” Jason Jordan as the fifth member of Team Raw.
(4) Sasha Banks & Bayley def. Nia Jax & Alicia Fox. The Team Captain tapped out to the Bank Statement, then was so impressed that she named them both as members of Team Raw.
(5) Braun Strowman def. The Miz by DQ after Kane came out and attacked him.
Cesaro & Sheamus def. Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose (c) to become the new Raw Tag Team Champions!
