Without a doubt the biggest release this month is Dreams. It's the first game of the year to really have any ambition and it could very well be the best sandbox game to come along ever. It's been in development for seven years and I find it somewhat strange that there's no real sense of anticipation. This isn't like a Red Dead Redemption 2 or a Death Stranding, it's one of those releases that's going to sneak up on a lot of people. I hope that it doesn't catch too many people out because I think it would be cool to see content creators push this game forward and use their talents to inspire the community to get on board.
With Dreams, I think it's important to be patient with the game. Supposedly the devs have a 10 year plan so I expect them to work on a lot of kinks and can see it going under a similar transformation as Destiny which had a cool concept but wasn't fully realised until around a year into it's launch. It's for this reason I find myself hesitant to pick it up at launch. I feel like it's a game that's better off coming back to every few months and even later into's life cycle I wouldn't be surprised if there's PS5 exclusive content if it lasts that long.
I hope it does well, but I'm sure there's a few gamers out there who share my concerns.
Of the games listed, the Yakuza Collection interests me the most. I've always wanted to play through the series, but since the third game hasn't been available on the PSN store I've had to sit and bide my time, hoping that the game will surface in a preowned bin at EB Games/Gamestop to no luck. I'm glad to finally have access to it, albeit, it's stuck in a bundle with 4 and 5. I'm sort of weighing up my options whether I should pick this up now, or just wait until the inevitable sale. I do want to own physical copies, but at the same time, I'm in no rush to play through those games and there's a slew of games coming out I'm more looking forward to. I just hope they're not ridiculously limited and say by the Christmas period, I might be able to pick them up cheaper, especially with next gen rolling around.

Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection (Switch) One-Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows (PS4)
The Mega Man collection was supposed to come out last month but got delayed until February 25th (and for sure will be buying it). As for One Punch Man, I'm kind of on the fence about that one, so we'll see how things go.

Bought Yakuza to bridge the collection, now have 0-6 on my PS4 shelf.
Renting Darksiders: Genesis, love the franchise.
Dreams is on I definitely want to get to in time, when I have the space to sit down to learn it and dedicate to creation. It’s maybe my most anticipated game of the year, definitely the most anticipated game I’m choosing to wait on.
