Don't have a problem with any of those except .... how the fuck does Atwater make it over Butler. I love Atwater but he does not deserve the nod definitively over Butler. 

Edge was one of my favorite backs in the game since playing at the U , Hutch was as dominant of a guard as the games scene at his peak. Bruce was great for a long time and Polamalu would have been the best safety in the game if not for playing the same time as Ed Reed for much of his career. Still an amazing player though and deserving. 

Troy was an easy in, he and Reed go hand and hand, two sides of the same coin. Ed played the ball as well as anyone ever, and Troy’s instincts and speed were crazy, start 20 yards out and get a tackle for a loss. Not sure any player ever perfected the snap count quite like Troy, only thing crazier than leaping the entire O-Line and D-line to stuff a QB on a 4th and nil sneak, was he did it a few times in his career. Even at the end when he lost a step, jumped a snap so perfectly he got the QB as he touched the ball; it was called offsides because it was near impossible to tell with the naked eye, anything less than frame by frame, you’d assume it had to be.

And that's bullshit , I love Atwater and he as some incredible hits. He was not a better football player than Butler though. Not by any stretch of the imagination. He was a better hitter and that's it.

Now which player do you choose? The ONLY thing Atwater has on Butler is pro bowls , otherwise he has less All Pro selections , less turnovers in every way and was worse in coverage. Butler was easily the better all around player , could play both at the LOS and in coverage and should HANDS DOWN be in the Hall before Atwater. It's ridiculous really. It's people living off highlights as opposed to actual players and it annoys me to no end.
