Tonight is a big one for AEW.  We are 10 days out from the Revolution pay per view.  And they make their debut in where Tony Schiavone calls, the Professional Wrestling Capital of the World, Atlanta.

There will be a AEW Tag Team Title match.  As Hangman and Kenny Omega defend the belts against the Lucha Brothers.

And whoever wins it, will have to pay close attention to another match on the card tonight.  Because whoever wins the Tag Team Battle Royal, will be next in line to face the champs.  And that title match will take place in Chicago, at Revolution.

And then there's tonight's Main Event.  It is the second step for Cody, in order to get his match with MJF at Revolution.  He goes one-on-one with Mr. Friedman's bodyguard, Wardlow.  And it will held for the first time in AEW, inside of a steel cage.  Brutality will be the order of the day in this one.

Big show, with lots of big things on the line.

Nice change in the tag team battle royal. Good to see AEW get rid of the "one man = one team" out rule.

Tag match was great. Really really enjoyed that.

Bucks vs Kenny/Page seemed like an inevitability after they won the titles so I’m glad they’re getting it over with. Will be interesting to see how that match plays out.

Anyone else notice Raven sitting in the crowd when Evil Uno attacked?

Someone on wreddit decoded the distorted voice recording and it sounded like him too. Wondering if they’re using him as a red herring or if they’re actually bringing him in.

Maybe it'll be Statlander who's next for Nyla's title.

I first assumed shanna was dressing as Goku but maybe it Yamcha because all she does is lose.

I like the cage. It's sorta like a mini version of WWE's Cell, minus the roof. And, no escape. Which is awesome too.

That was such a good show.

The tag battle royale was fun, lots of neat storyline interactions within the match. The guy sitting in the crowd when t hawk was leaving with the dark order mask looked a lot like raven. I would believe he was out there just to trick long time fans.

Tag title match was great of course. Not sure how I feel about the bucks facing the champs at revolution. Like I don't know I can buy the bucks being willing to go toe to toe with their fellow elite members. Hopefully they address this next week. Kenny being in a 30 minutes match against will surely lead to him being dead weight at the ppv.

Shanna is fun to watch. Good promo from nyla, I really hope at some point shanna gets a chance at redemption against nyla for all the tables nyla put her through.

Fun to see Darby back, great interactions with him, mox, Dustin and the elite. I missed it we get darby/guevara at the ppv or next week.

The cage match almost felt like too much had happened in the show tonight and I was tired by the time I got to it. But it was fun stuff, cody vs mjf has been very antic filled and it has all worked for me.

Glad to see the guy from the Dark Order ads live.

The more I see of the Butcher the more I like him. Maybe because he doesn't seem like everyone else.

Wardlow even though he lost had a good debut.

I had no idea that Cody would so good as a babyface.

No one gonna comment on the possible Dark Order Leader making a cameo? Raven was in the crowd watching the Dark Order match.

Really?  Didn't notice.

He appeared when they were fighting in the crowd. Reddit screenshotted it. He may be lurking at other shows too to do a reveal he was always there, watching.

RT also mentioned it. 

He was sitting in the same empty area that Jericho 'had a ticket' for later that night. The area where the companies always 'subtly' put people for crowd interactions. Amongst all the subtle plants in the history of wrestling, this was one of the most subtle. And they didn't even mention him on commentary which I think made it better for those that did notice. 

I have no idea what the plan for Raven is, whether he was there to fuck with fans or is the Exalted One. I know he was in the back as some of the guys marked out to meet him and posted on twitter about it. But fuck, Raven involved in AEW in a non-wrestling role would be huge. The guy is one of the best minds in wrestling when it comes to putting together matches and promos. He never was the best in the ring but man, as a mouthpiece you cannot beat him. As a mentor backstage I imagine him being super useful as well. Be a great guy to pick up and bring around if he is still sober.

For those who do not follow him on twitter he is hilarious. Still has the razor sharp wit and sarcasm. Moved into meme culture so well.

Solid show from top to bottom. Tag title match was great. Women's match was one of the best I've seen from AEW. Main event, not great, but did its job.

I have been impressed by the Butcher. I would like to see him get a singles push.
