Finally some games, I was beginning to think the games industry had been plagued by the Corona Virus. Not only do we have the return of some beloved franchises like Ori and MLB The Show but we've got some heavy hitters. We've got the sweet and calming Doom Eternal and the ball bustingly brutal Animal Crossing (do I have that the wrong way round) coming out on March 20th. Atlus are also going to re-sell Persona 5 to us on March 31st with a few changes meanwhile my personal favourite game Nioh gets a sequel on March 13th.
Doom Eternal and Ori are the two games that have my attention that I won't play right away, namely because I want to play their prequels first. From what I've seen they're right up my alley, particularly DOOM which takes the original design and uses it as a blueprint to make an FPS that stands out among modern shooters.
I feel guilty, but I'll definitely be picking up Persona 5 Royal. I wish it had have been released on Switch at least that way I could justify the purchase as buying an updated version on a different platform but I'm curious to see what changes they've made from the original given I sunk 170 hours into it in just over two weeks (I went all in).

Ori and the Will of the Wisps looks like both a refinement and an expansion of one of the best metroidvanias of this generation...they even managed to make this one look even prettier than the first somehow! Day one via PC Game Pass.
Doom Eternal is neck and neck (and neck) with The Last of Us 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 as my most anticipated game of the year. It's the sequel to my 2016 GOTY and probably one of my favorite games of this console. Previews have been glowing and this looks like, to quote Jeff Gerstmann, a video game ass video game. Day 1, will probably pre-order soon on Steam.
Nioh 2 might be something I look to pick up on a sale later this year.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons My Hero One’s Justice 2 Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX
Looking at these games (that I'm getting), Animal Crossing is definitely the biggest release, though if I’m being honest, it’s the sequel to One’s Justice that I’m looking forward to the most.

I ended up buying a special edition Animal Crossing switch. No more spending for me except for the game.
