I wanna get to know who you guys are as wrestling fans a bit more. Gimme your top ten favorite wrestlers of all time, not who you think the ten greatest are, just your favorites. If this is a hit I wanna do a tag team thread too! I’ll start. The top 4 are pretty concrete but 5-10 change pretty frequently.

This just made me pine for that classic countdown we did on the old board. Unfortunately I did make an effort to save that list but I had to wipe my hardrive last year. I know I had Flair a little lower back then with the likes of Kobashi, Misawa and Kawada ahead of him. Over the last 5 years since we did that countdown I feel even more detached for the movez mark I was in the mid to late 90's.

Hart and Savage were my favourites when I was a kid and I will always hold them dear. I stopped watching wrestling for a long time after the late 90s, but during the time it was all about Austin & RVD/ECW. I used to go to my neighbours house to watch wrestling until my dad started to get into it and we would watch together. He didn’t like ECW though.

I was picky as time went on, got into mid 2000s ROH, followed NJPW when Devitt and Bullet Club were a thing. Really got into it once Omega rose to fame and Styles was over there. Still very much love NJPW and follow the current WWE product as much as I can, although I mostly watch NXT. I don’t watch the weekly shows anymore but I keep up.

And I try to watch AEW when I can. Jericho is my own personal GOAT and I’ve followed him since he was in WCW. I love him and always will.

At least those were the guys I gravitated towards when I was younger and didn't caught up in the ins and outs of Pro Wrestling. These days I'm far from settled, but I feel guys like Bret and Daniel Bryan would be right up there. Guys who put together a match and don't come up with contrived spots that make them look like choke artists, dummies or cartoon characters.

I’ll add AJ Styles too, although he’s barely in there. I love watching the guy work but for some reason nothing about his character clicks with me.

I kind of feel the same way about Johnny Gargano. Amazing worker, but I just don’t care about him as a person or character. Never have and probably never will. AJ’s best character/gimmick work is Bullet Club & The OC, and when your best work is being part of a group that you feed off of, eehhh...you lose a couple points in my book.

Big Pete's favourite of all time is Becky Lynch? Damn. News to me.

KENTA was my all-time favourite wrestler for many years. He's still very good, but nowhere near my current top 10.

The Rock and The Undertaker were my two guys when I was first getting into wrestling.

🤯's first list was better. Huge lack of Slick Nick on the second. Also, when was the last time Brock wrestled a tag match?

A few months ago I started that ridiculous 200 Favorite Wrestlers project. Overexerted myself and ended up conking out around #118. My plan was actually to stop after #51 and run a forum wide "50 Favorite Wrestlers" countdown. The last time we did that was in like 2013 or 2014, and it was ran by a good, but long gone poster named Coolstuff. Figured it was a good time to bring it back and see if Bret would still retain the top spot. Anyway...
