So I was thinking since we are going to be without sports for who knows how long , maybe to keep the conversations going and forum active in here we could run a couple Top Tens of the sporting world depending on the interest and amount of topics we can muster. At least for a month or so.

Google searched to see if I was just having a mental block - and basically everything that is listed either happened too long ago or happened in sports that I don't really care about.

I can share my list if it would help? Didn't really feel like that much of a struggle, and I stripped out not only upsets but also things that didn't happen within the sport itself (like OJ's car chase, Kobe's helicopter crash, etc.)

I also didn't include things outside the field of play except for two events  that happened to guys that were active at the time. A large chunk of my list (6 out of 10) happened between 1987 and 1994 when I was young and impressionable.

Yeah. I was stuck on two for the longest time. Came up with a 3rd last night. Research just gave me a few others. Then there's some borderline stuff that may or may not count. Going to try cobbling together a list of 10 now.
