Lionheart

Sekiro is an inspired choice.

In terms of the video game zeitgeist, I feel Sekiro is definitely at it's lowest ebb where everyone has moved on from it after the GotY discussions but when we look back at this era in 5 years time, Sekiro will be remembered as one of if not the best game of it's generation.

It had excellent movement, thrilling combat, amazing scenary and some incredible action set pieces. When it was released the discourse over difficulty dominated the discussion which I felt took away from the game's merits. Instead of focusing on all these cool aspects, the conversation was just about how hard the game was.

It's a must play for everyone.

Sekiro is a great pick this late, just could not take a 2nd FROM Software game after Bloodborne, matter of spreading the love. GOTY for me last year and tons of other places back me on that.

It not having DLC or better replayability is my biggest gripe. Activision needed to work something out with FROM to get DLC because sales would have been big. It's a weird problem to argue to want DLC since you like games that are complete from the get go but there was still so much more that the game needed IMO. Game had great length just would have liked more boss fights as the game began to repeat itself.

Or if it's on a system outside of the Gamecube or Wii U or 3DS(And this was a spinoff of the series). Animal Crossing got itself on Switch and it's selling like hotcakes. Case of the game being on Nintendo's less popular systems. 

They re-released it for the Wii and you could play both on that system.

Pikmin is excellent and you've done really well in these later rounds Lionheart.

They released a new Luigi's Mansion & a new Animal Crossing but no Pikmin for the Nintendo Switch, the hottest selling Nintendo console in ages. Most likely doing Metroid Prime trilogy before the 4th installment comes out too.

At least it's doing better than Wave Race. *sigh*

Xenoblade Chronicles is getting a re-release for the 3rd time, just wonder how important Pikmin is to Nintendo and Miyamoto. 

In fairness, nobody played either version of Xenoblade Chronicles. Those that did called it the greatest JRPG of all-time and the second did really well and they got that Smash seal of approval.

Now EARTHBOUND has a real bone to pick. How long have fans asked for Mother 3?

I'm still hoping that the reason they've delayed the N64 Classic is because they plan to release the original Mother 3...

Or the proper Dinosaur Planet. Star Fox deserved to get cast out for that ploy.

With Pikmin, that's one of those IPs like Kirby and Yoshi Nintendo could announce within six months of release and nobody would bat an eyelid.

Animal Crossing pre-Switch is nowhere near a fair comparison to Pikmin. New Leaf was already one of Nintendo's best selling games, a top 10 selling 3DS game and pretty sure the highest selling one in Japan overall, selling throughout the system's whole life.

Animal Crossing has been a big franchise for Nintendo for a long while, it's just that internet did a good job of ignoring that due to the series' nature.

Pikmin, as fantastic as it is, is pretty niche in comparison.

I would uninstall it, but some notifications are still better than none. I just need to stop relying on it for everything.

I almost took Sekiro a couple times over, but I just didn't know the sort of following it had around the board...I generally only recall me and a couple others ever in conversations about Soulslike games, or Soulsadjacent in Sekiro's case.
