So, my wife and I were talking about  Brenda Tracy as she is coming by locally to speak.  For those who don't know who she is, she is a woman who after 16 years of silence is claiming that she was raped by a couple Oregon State football players and others in a gang rape situation.  Some of the accused flat out deny it and claim their innocence.  And it got me to thinking about how many huge public cases end up false accusations, with no charges pressed, nobody locked up.  

Of course, this all fits current events.  Some of the celebrity cases are pressing charges.  Corey Feldman and the LAPD has opened an investigation.  Terry Crews is pressing charges etc.  

I was trying to remember if anyone famous has been convicted.  I think Mike Tyson has to be in line for the largest public figure to be convicted of rape.   Is this the most infamous case? Not the most notorious or prolific but the largest public figure?  Does Jerry Sandusky supersede Tyson?  Has there been anyone that has been a proven victim of rape in the public eye?  Who are the most famous on both sides of the convicted side of rape?

The only victims i can think of are those 2 girls held captive in Cleveland who finally escaped. i think one of the girls was named Amanda...
