The New England Patriots select LB Kenneth Murray out of Oklahoma Just don't see Belichick going QB in Round 1, he likes those sort of lower key type of positions and with Jamie Collins in Detroit and Kyle Van Noy in Miami, LB help is needed especially given Hightower's age getting up there. Murray is a great leader, very solid tackler and should offer up some versatility for Belichick to begin using on his defense. Also a really good feel good story of him taking care of his special needs adopted brothers and sisters so seems like easily one of the coolest guys in the draft, brownie points for Belichick. More than a feel good story because he seems like a hell of a three down contributor. www.si.com/nfl/packers/news/kenneth-murray-linebacker-and-heroNew Orleans Saints OTC.

With the 24th pick the New Orleans Saints select Laviska Shenault Jr, WR, Colorado.
The need at WR obviously isn't as great following the acquisition of Manny Sanders, but that allows the Saints to select one of the most interesting talents in the draft rather than a prototype guy like Reagor or Mims. Everyone should be hoping that Shenault ends up at a team with a creative playcaller that knows how to use a player like this, and Sean Payton is obviously on that shortlist. Kyle Shanahan showed the template with Deebo Samuel last season, how games can be broken open with versatility and open field speed. The Saints could use a YAC monster, neither Sanders or Michael Thomas are that, and Ted Ginn was one of the worst receivers in the league for xYAC last season.
The Vikings are back up - you like that?!

With the 25th pick the Minnesota Vikings select OT Austin Jackson out of Southern Cal.
More OLine talent is needed and getting a tackle here seems key to not let Kirk Cousins get pummeled after the snap. Austin Jackson wasn't as great as many thought he would be last season but the tools are there and the little things can be fixed with this player. Seems pretty important than Minnesota gets some more oline help in this draft.

With the 26th pick the Miami Dolphins select AJ Epenesa, EDGE, Iowa.
The Dolphins desperately need some edge rush, they were a distant last in total sacks last season with just 23(!) and their team leader was a guy that joined the team mid-season and only started five games. Epenesa is the perfect guy for a Belichickian team - not the fanciest, not the most athletic, but a big powerful defender who you can almost guarantee will pop up and make a crucial forced fumble at just the right time.
The Seahawks are on the clock.

With the 27th pick, the Seattle Seahawks select OT Josh Jones out of Houston
Team needs to protect Russell Wilson with all that they can. Both Ifedi and Fant are gone, they signed a pretty shitty OLineman in Shell(Take it from me on that one) and Duane Brown is 35 so they have to go after this position. Jones is somewhat raw as a newcomer to football but the body and flashes of ability have you thinking big picture here. 5 Offensive Tackle are gone thus far, make it 6! Seahawks can't afford to wait until late round 2 to get their guy here.

With the 28th pick the Baltimore Ravens select Zach Baun, LB, Wisconsin
The Ravens are set up front after signing Calais Campbell and Derek Wolfe, they've still got a deep secondary, but the middle of their defence could use some reinforcements. Wink Martindale loves to blitz and Baun is ranked as the best blitzing linebacker in the class, plus he can drop into coverage. With Matt Judon franchise tagged, and probably in his last season in Baltimore, this gives Baun a year to get up to speed and add some size to get closer to the prototypical NFL edge rusher frame.
The Tennessee Titans are on the clock.

Figure UT want the Packers pick so let's do the Titans... With the 29th pick, the Tenn. Titans will select RB D'Andre Swift out of Georgia Derrick Henry not only has carried the rock a massive amount of times but he is on a franchise tag and this is the guy who is waiting in the wings to come in and take over and even hold the float together if Henry were to get hurt. Swift is a top 20 talent but only falls because there is no big need for a RB to teams but I figure if the Titans let Swift go in this pick he may very well be a Chief so this pick is also not letting the Chiefs get their hands on yet another weapon. Titans are one of the few teams to still feature the run as the main source of offense so they have to have someone waiting to take over. Sure there's bigger needs for the team(pass rusher, RT) but the talent just doesn't line up, gotta go BPA. Swift also adds pass catching to the element of the offense which Henry does not. With the 31st pick, the San Francisco 49ers will select CB Jaylon Johnson out of Utah
Niners go with a local product here to give them much needed CB depth. Lets face it, the Niners are going to rely on 32 year old Richard Sherman to continue to keep up his stellar play but he also has a torn Achilles on his resume and I think is on a year to year contract that Sherman negotiated himself if you weren't aware(Go ask him, he will tell you how proud he is that he did it on his own). Niners are getting a very physical very fearless sort of corner here with some very coachable issues. He says he played hurt all of last year so the 49ers are banking big here on a future starter at the spot and someone affordable for the next 5 years on his rookie contract.

With the 32nd pick the Kansas City Chiefs select Cesar Ruiz, C, Michigan
Chiefs could definitely use an upgrade to their interior line after Wisniewski left for the Steelers, and Reiter is only ok at best. Ruiz is young and seems to be the consensus highest rated interior OL in a poor class, so it's a good opportunity for the Chiefs to pick a promising talent at the end of the first round.

With the 33rd pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select WR Justin Jefferson out of LSU
It's simple, team Joe Burrow with a go to WR he had major success in LSU! With AJ Green on a franchise tag and John Ross being a injury prone disaster, this team needs help in this spot and are getting one of the BPA if not the best here. With Boyd and a reinvigorated Green, I think Jefferson fills in smoothly here to open Round 2 up.

With the 34th pick the Indianapolis Colts select Michael Pittman Jr, WR, USC.
The receivers are disappearing quickly and the Colts need to add someone across from TY Hilton to give Rivers a chance. Mock drafts everywhere are pointing out how Indy especially need some bigger bodied receivers, and Pittman is similar to Mike Williams who just put up a 1000 yard, 20ypc season with Rivers.
The Detroit Lions are up.

With the 35th pick, the Detroit Lions select QB Jordan Love out of Utah State See I am torn here because I know both Patricia and Quinn needed something to happen here to save their jobs and taking a QB like Love is the antithesis of that.....but Matthew Stafford bless his good heart and arm just can't be relied on to finish a full season at this point and they have Chase Daniel behind him but they need a future at this position and I don't think the regime is up for a "Suck for Lawrence" sort of deal. Love's measureables at both the north/south bowl and combine were terrific and he has the ability, just the accuracy and rawness is what has him slip to the 2nd round here. Truthfully, I think the Lions or some other side trade up the end of round 1 to secure Love and maybe the Bengals hold the golden ticket to hear trade ups but nevertheless Lions go after Love and hope sitting and digesting the game pays off. Chase Daniel should not stop you from getting your QB if you truly feel you can mold them into something. Giants football OTC.

With the 36th pick, the New York Giants select Antoine Winfield, S, Minnesota
This was a tricky one, and backs up why I think they'll pick an OT at #4 and then go defence in the second round, rather than the other way around. Winfield is a ball hawk (seven INT last season in college) that would fit nicely alongside Peppers at safety, the Giants were 25th in the league for interceptions last season so takeaways is definitely an area that could be improved. NYG have had one of the most talent poor defences around for a while now so adding Simmons and Winfield gives you two potential impact playmakers to help turn things around.

The San Diego Chargers select Jonathan Taylor , RB , Wisconsin -
Gordon isn't sticking , Ekeler just got an extension but he isn't an every down back by any means. Taylor is the perfect compliment to him as passing downs are his biggest question mark - but as a pure runner Taylor is probably the best in the entire draft.

With the 38th pick, the Carolina Panthers select DT Ross Blacklock out of Texas Christian University
Panthers opted to go with Henderson over Derrick Brown in round 1 but they have to for that big defensive tackle upfront. I know Rhule will bang on the desk for his Baylor WR but ultimately the GM wins the pick here and opt to help out a Front 7 that got pushed around and then some. Blacklock isn't a finished product but ultimately serves as much, much needed depth for this team.

With the 39th pick the Miami Dolphins select D'Andre Swift, RB, Georgia
Miami basically have no running backs so this is a desperate need. Jordan Howard might be able to give them a few carries up the middle, but Swift will be a game changer for them, a genuine do it all back. He's got the ability to become a McCaffrey-esque receiver as his 73 college catches suggest - and that's really where the value is for running backs in today's NFL. The Dolphins have mock drafted their way to a new QB, RB and LT and already look like a completely different proposition.
The Houston Texans are on the clock.

With the 40th pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans select CB Trevon Diggs out of Alabama
This pick was given to them from Arizona where BoB gave away Their star WR.....so why not draft the younger brother of another star WR that got moved? Texans are hoping the 2018 Diggs shows up here and not the foot injury plagued 2019 one shows up here. With Hargreaves and Roby as the corners, as you saw in the divisional round last year, not a shot is that stopping Mahomes which is the Texans gameplan with the now tight window they're on before Watson considers bolting away.

With the 41st pick the Cleveland Browns select Grant Delpit, S, LSU
The Browns signed two free agent safeties this offseason, but both are only on one year deals - and Karl Joseph is injury prone. Delpit once was projected to be a top 20 pick but his missed tackle numbers have seen him slide down draft boards, but a team that thinks they can fix that issue might end up with a real steal of a player who can play centre fielder, and cover.

Make that two Nittany Lions joining the cause in JVille. They have DJ Chalk who had a hell of a rookie year, Chris Conley who is a JAG and Marquis Lee and Dede Westbrook who both aren't bad but don't break the game open. Here is someone with blazing speed and adds an element and allows Minshew to air it out. They went D in the first round with both picks so here is someone to upgrade their pedestrian offense.

The Chicago Bears select: Denzel Mims , WR , Baylor
The Bears needing more weapons on offense is seemingly a thing every year , Mims has been great throughout the process and has huge upside with his physical traits but needs to put it all together. Nagy could be the coach to do that provided he has a quarterback who can consistently get the ball out and take advantage.

Baun says he drank too much water but these gms pick and choose on so many little things on players. With the new drug testing rules , I think issues like this are going to be far less of an issue. Baun is awesome and perfect for defenses today that love to play multiple sets. I can't be sure but like I said - I think drug tests prior to the draft are going to mean a little less going forward. At worst he would be a very early second round pick.

With the 44th pick the Indianapolis Colts select Damien Lewis, OG, LSU
The Colts are well set with their front five, but they could use some depth for a unit that they have built their team identity around. Lewis is a powerful run blocker that really fits with the style of play that Indy has forged in recent years. An interior three of Lewis, Nelson and Kelly could be about as good as it gets.

With the 45th pick, Tampa Brady Bucs select RB J.K. Dobbins out of Ohio St
Running back number 3 goes to the Bucs. They have an alright back right now in Ronald Jones but gamechanger he is not, that's where Dobbins comes into play. Dobbins will add to this offense and instantly take over as a potential starter and fantasy peg with his versatility and Tom Brady's notorious passing to running backs. Really liked a lot of what I saw in Dobbins and he did well with Justin Fields all of last year for the Buckeyes, going to be a producer out the gates for Tampa Bay. Owns the school record for most yards in a single season, over both Eddie George and Ezekiel Elliot. Going to be a beast.

With the 46th pick the Denver Broncos select Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson
Pat Shurmur loves to run three WR sets so the Broncos need to boost their receiving corps behind Courtland Sutton. It looks like Higgins is slipping out of the first round after running through an injury at the combine, but his college production proves that he can be a downfield threat which is something they could definitely use. Most importantly, his contested catch ability is exactly what Drew Lock could use, considering accuracy has always been his biggest question mark.
