With the 46th pick the Denver Broncos select Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson Pat Shurmur loves to run three WR sets so the Broncos need to boost their receiving corps behind Courtland Sutton. It looks like Higgins is slipping out of the first round after running through an injury at the combine, but his college production proves that he can be a downfield threat which is something they could definitely use. Most importantly, his contested catch ability is exactly what Drew Lock could use, considering accuracy has always been his biggest question mark. The Atlanta Falcons are on the clock. Went 21st to the Eagles!

For fucks sake. The search bar has stopped working?
Will Chinn, LB/S, Southern Illinois to Denver instead then! I don't see a lot at safety for the Broncos besides the franchise tagged Justin Simmons, and Chinn has a similar hybrid profile to Will Parks who departed for the Eagles in free agency - his athleticism and instincts make him perfect to play dime linebacker in a zone scheme like Fangio's. Plus he's Steve Atwater's nephew so there is an obvious connection there.

With the 47th pick, the Atlanta Falcons select DT Justin Madubuike out of Texas A&M
They gotta stop the run and need to accompany Grady Jarrett up front with another run stuffer and this guy tested very strong and should be a 3 down starter on the next level. Seems like the total antidote for what the Falcons are in need of, getting him and Chaisson in the first 2 rounds goes a long way for this defense that was woeful. The ability to win happens in the trenches and getting a player like this is going to pay dividends with the Kamara's, McCaffrey and maybe Dobbins of the division!
If someone wants to pick for the Jets go for it, they're up!(If not there's a player I really like!)

With the 48th pick the New York Jets select Isaiah Wilson, OT, Georgia
The Jets remade their o-line in free agency but I don't think you can be particularly convinced by any of their acquisitions. Wilson is a huge dude (maybe he ends up playing guard? doesn't matter since they have so many holes) who I've seen compared to Jack Conklin - the player that it seemed like Gang Green really wanted (and needed) before he signed with the Browns. He's also a New York native.
Pittsburgh Stillers are on the clock.

With the 49th pick, the Pittsburgh Steelers select WR Jalen Reagor out of Texas Christian University
Steelers have Juju and that's about it as far as throwing to someone worthwhile goes. Another playmaker is needed and I think Reagor's bad combine or lack there of shoots him down further to pick 49 rather than what his talent really is which is a fringe first rounder. He has very good speed and was a big playmaker for TCU despite some subpar squads around him. His 40 time and the inability to get a pro day to disarm that is probably what did him in but this is a big get for the Steelers IMO.

With the 50th pick the Chicago Bears select Ashtyn Davis, S, Cal
Bears have a starting spot at safety open with HaHa Clinton-Dix off to Dallas. All the focus last season was on Trubisky's struggles, but their defence took a step back from elite to just good/average, and I think pairing an elite athlete like Davis alongside Eddie Jackson will help.

How bout dem Cowboys with the 51st pick are taking TE Cole Kmet out of Notre Dame
First Tight End off the board and it's a good one. Not the finest tight end class so it is good reason that not one is chosen next Thursday in all likelihood but Dallas opts to go for the best one here at pick 51.
Watched a lot of Kmet since the Irish are my side and he is sneaky good, has really gotten much better as a receiver and with a year of pro training, his blocking should come along since he's 21. I kinda wished he cameback because he has 1st round potential next year but I can't fault him for wanting to get the money sooner either. He was so important on the Irish offense, sucks to lose him.
Jason Witten and whatever is left of him left to join like 8 others in Las Vegas and Jarwin is not a proven commodity by any means necessary to lets add to Dak Prescott, Zeke Elliot, that OLine led by ND legend Z Martin and Amari "Fuck you Rex Ryan!" Cooper with this stud.

With the 52nd pick the LA Rams select Terrell Lewis, OLB, Alabama
The Rams went all in and are now paying the price with their roster full of holes. Linebacker seems like the most needy to me, losing three starting pass rushers from last season, and only replacing them with former Bears disappointment Leonard Floyd on a prove it deal. Lewis is a prototype pass rusher but he was injured a lot in college. If he can stay healthy he looks like a good fit to fill a huge void, with Aaron Donald the only player on the roster with more than five sacks last season.
Eagles are up.

With the 53rd pick, the Philadelphia Eagles select C Lloyd Cushenberry out of LSU
Jason Kelce turns 33 in November and is a total wildcard as far as how much longer he is willing to play football(He's the Brett Favre of semi retirement year by year) so the Eagles need a backup plan and can stick Cushenberry who was a good part of why Joe Burrow got to be Joe Burrow in 2019 as a guard and over time groom him to be the future center. Eagles are always hungry for OLine help especially losing Vaitai to Detroit and Jason Peters still looming as a elder free agent. Cushenberry won't play tackle but as an interior OLinemen he's a big get here.

With the 54th pick the Buffalo Bills select Damien Lewis, OG, LSU
Consecutive Lewis's for me, and consecutive LSU lineman in our mock! I think the Bills might have the fewest holes in the NFL. Apart from right guard, they could use a second running back but that's about it in terms of glaring needs. Lewis is a lineman that seems to fit the Buffalo template, no nonsense, powerful in the run game, quiet leadership. I like this fit a lot.
The Baltimore Ravens are on the clock.

With the 55th pick, Baltimore Ravens will select RB Cam Akers out of Florida State
Mark Ingram is going to be 30 going to this year despite the massive year so his backup will be wanted and with 2 picks this round, Baltimore will opt in going for their future RB to accompany Lamar in the running game attack that Greg Roman often fancies. Akers was a star on some lousy Seminole squads which is what I think is costing him getting picked higher, pretty solid all around back and will be valued in fantasy football if he becomes a Raven.
Lotta running backs going this round. Miami and maybe the Rams might be in the market for their back so Baltimore isn't waiting till 60th pick to go for this.

With the 56th pick the Miami Dolphins select Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, LSU
I posted before about Miami's dire RB situation. Edwards-Helaire's size is going to stop him being a huge volume guy but they've got Jordan Howard to run between the tackles - but he's the playmaker that they need with only Albert Wilson really fitting in that category. He was absolutely awesome in the National Championship game and I think which ever team drafts him is going to get a straight baller.

LA Rams have this pick with the recent Cooks trade
With the 57th, the LA Rams select G/OT Robert Hunt out of Louisiana Layfayette Rajun Cajuns
He is a bit of a project as a lower school from the Sun Belt going to the quantum leap to the NFL but you figure throwing him from OT to OG will negate some of his deficiencies. Rams need OLine help and Hunt is just what the doctor ordered. Probably going to benefit a full year with NFL technique training and conditioning but has high grades as a run blocker already and I think he's going to be a big time hole creating guard for years to come, just a matter if his pass protection can improve.

Thanks for fixing all of my mistakes!
With the 58th pick the Minnesota Vikings select Neville Gallimore, DT, Oklahoma
Vikings need someone to play 3-technique next to newly signed Michael Pierce who can be more productive than Shamar Stephen was last season. Gallimore is very fast for an interior lineman so he should be able to get pressure and sacks, while on the flipside he's a bit limited in the power game - so Minnesota seems like a good fit in terms of his strengths and weaknesses.

Just caught this one now, Damien Lewis was taken twice, once by Colts at 44 and then Bills at 54. Quick re-do for Buffalo here:
With the 54th pick the Buffalo Bills select CB Jeff Gladney out of Texas Christian University
He has some off the field problems but they have Josh Norman on a 1 year prove it deal and he's past his prime I feel scheme or not but ultimately the position can be upgraded I feel for Buffalo. They have Tre White, also added EJ Gaines who isn't the most durable, it stands to believe that Buffalo can add another CB here and think long term with this player. Just needs to get his head on right because he has a chance to do wonders in Frazier's defense.

With the 59th pick, the Seattle Seahawks select DE Marlon Robinson out of Auburn.
Regardless if Clowney leaves or comes back on a 1 year deal, the Seahawks need to think long term here and despite having Clowney last year, did not do enough to rush the pasher. Here comes a very strong, very potent player who with enough patience will be a force upfront and do wonders for going after the QB with some hurries and pressures. Robinson is about as versatile of a lineman as you will find in the draft.

With the 60th pick the Baltimore Ravens select Terrell Burgess, S, Utah
Ravens don't have much behind Earl Thomas at safety, and he's obviously not going to be around forever. Baltimore's unique defensive scheme feels like a good fit for Burgess who is one of the most versatile players in the safety class with elite cover skills, football IQ and speed. Most pieces I've read about him have him projecting as a slot corner because of his coverage, and that's why I like him at the Ravens because of the way they play hybrid/positionless defence.
(Hopefully) the Titans are on the clock.

With the 61st pick, the Tenn Titans select OT Lucas Niang out of Texas Christian University Think this is the 4th Horned Frog taken in the first two rounds. Blacklock, Gladney, Reagnor and now Niang. The Titans lost Conklin in FA to Cleveland and would like to have that swing tackle spot covered just in case something goes awry. Niang doesn't have too much upside but teams will always be thristy for tackles and the Titans really would like to get the trenches taken care of here. Green Bay Packers OTC. UT

The Green Bay Packers select: Adam Trautman , TE , Dayton -
I would love to see a tackle taken around here but there has been a run on them and I don't see a ton of value , Trautman is a huge upside guy with great physical traits that would come in and provide some competiton for Sternberger from last years draft and give Rodgers another option at Tight End. I could also see the Packers going for a box type safety/linebacker hybrid or a cornerback here. Trautman wins in my mind though.

With the 63rd pick, the defending la champion KC Chiefs select LB Logan Wilson out of Wyoming
So the Chiefs for all their success last year, didn't have the best LB corps. They took a low risk flier on 2016 BUST Darron Lee who bombed(Anyone would have told you that) and have JAGS in Damien Wilson and Anthony Hitchens. Chiefs here late in round 2 are getting a 3 down LB who will bring it on stopping the run and will be able to matchup with (some) TEs and inside options although it's not ideal since he doesn't have the speed to go against the cream of the crop. But for what Spags wants to do on this defense, having some ballers in the middle is very ideal and Wilson brings a lot of intangibles and should be ready to go as a Day 1 starter for the Chiefs in their efforts to repeat. 4 year starter at small school Wyoming, probably has an early round 3 grade so feel good getting him here with the 2nd to last pick of round 2.
Seattle Seahawks have the final pick of round 2!

With the 64th pick the Seattle Seahawks select Julian Okwara, EDGE, Notre Dame Double dipping on edge players because it's such a big need Seattle have to find an answer after getting absolutely nothing out of last years #1 pick LJ Collier. Okwara has one of the highest pass rush win rates in college in the past couple of seasons, he's a proven producer - which is exactly what the doctor ordered for a team who didn't have anyone register more than four sacks in 2019. This was fun Blindy & UT! Under/over on correct picks is set at 4.5

Well I feel good about Joe Burrow and Chase young going 1 and 2, it's the Lions and if they trade back that can blow up this whole thing.
And thank you guys for running this, has been fun. With the Jets, if we got a WR/OT in rounds 1 and 2, id like a CB and pass rusher in both round 3, maybe a RB/WR/C who can do guard and maybe a kicker or punter to end the draft. I know you don't draft on needs over BPA but still.
My guy Chase Claypool if he stays healthy is going to make some team happy in round 3, tempted to double dip on WR if he's there for the Jets in early round 3. Needs to stay healthy, pick up the little things on being a WR because his athleticism will carry him to easily be a red zone go to guy year 1 as he picks up things. Slaughtered so many drills in Indy, was in the same level of Megatron in some categories.

So no players from the 2 rounder we did here leaked into Day 3! That's pretty good, we usually have like 1-2 that sadly don't make it to Day 1 or 2. 7/64 right, with Burrow/Chase Young/Okudah/Tua/Herbert/Pittman Jr/Delpit accurately put with right team and right spot. @admin with the heavy lifting of 4 of those. Few notes: 1) I got screwed, I did have Kenneth Murray at the right spot just the Pats traded down 2) Terrell Lewis did end up with the Rams, albeit in round 3. 3) Honestly, we did pretty good on hitting needs. We matched the actual pick of a team with the right position, just not the right player.
