Just reported, Ezekiel Elliott's motion for an injunction, has been denied by the second circuit court of appeals. Which means the NFL can start Elliott's suspension as early as this weekend.

Glad that it's finally going to be over (although he can still appeal again, it's just going to be a few weeks before it's heard during which time he'll be serving the suspension), this has been one of the truly annoying storylines. I don't think it's even a really big deal, we knew all along that Dallas had pretty decent insurance with Morris, Smith and McFadden, and their schedule over the next few weeks features a few soft run defenses.
Tonight's game looks potentially interesting, really important for both teams, Seattle trying to keep pace with the Rams and Arizona trying to keep some playoff hopes alive. Intriguing to see how AP backs up after his 37 touches on Sunday, and how Seattle's somewhat faltering defense fares without the presence of Earl Thomas.

Richard Sherman tearing his Achilles is devastating news. Another major NFL injury.

Spectacular scramble by Wilson and amazing catch by Baldwin but truly embarrassing play by Bethea falling backwards like a clown.
Seattle and Jimmy Graham seem to have finally realised after a couple of years that he’s bigger than basically everyone and that tossing the ball up to him in the end zone will result in a TD more often than not.

Wish I could have seen the ruling BEFORE I didn't start Alfred Morris in my fantasy league (Fitzgerald was my flex player).
I don't know with the Steelers, sad as it is to say, I'm more scared when they play bad teams than when they play good team. Should be an easy win against Indy, but you just never know.

Rookie mistake. You never start a Thursday guy in a FLEX spot.

Hmmmmmmmm. Cleveland's up 10-3 on Detroit. If they win, and San Fran beats the Giants, it's gonna be quite the race to the top draft pick.

With the Steelers struggling, refs steal the momentum from them after a clear cut fumble recovery by calling a BS forward progress, despite the fact that the strip came with the stop, and the ball was stripped and recovered before any whistle. One of the worst forward progress calls I've seen.

Nice pass by Savage dropped by Ellington on 3rd and 11. Oline looked better that drive, running game got going with a few big runs behind center Nick Martin. Big false start penalty by Giacommini on 3rd and 6 kills the drive though.

Seeing how many empty seats there are at the Coliseum, I'm starting to second guess myself whether L.A. deserved to have the Rams back. I thought L.A. supported winning teams.

I think Mcadoo isn't coming home, spags is getting this team to coach and Eli might be put on notice to see Webb.
Jets should consider throwing Petty in there with the way this season just got thrown away with the offenses pitiful effort vs a shit Tampa team led by a clown of a quarterback(not Jameis)

Sickening performance by Texans today, offensive line is terrible, Sua Filo and Giacomini don't belong on an NFL roster, sickens me to think we passed on Derek Carr for Sua Filo. Savage threw some bad picks and looked like a 3rd string quarterback today, I would say put in TJ Yates but man even with him I don't have much confidence with this offensive line. Defense played really well there early in this game but offense never cut them a break and kept turning the ball over. There was big time holding on Clowney on that 94 yard touchdown pass though, Clowney was blatantly held several times there in the second half and the refs let it go.
Terrible play calling by Obrien today too though, had Braxton Miller in there at QB a couple of times for some wildcat bullshit that fell flat on it's face just like every other time we've tried to call those plays. He called another bullshit passing play on a critical 3rd down with Hopkins in the backfield in a halfback position, just completely telegraphed play that flopped bigger than shit as Hop was stuffed at the line, Savage threw it to him anyway. Lucky it wasn't a pick 6.
I've seen just about all I want to see of Tom Savage though. He's not a starting quarterback, he's barely a backup. That performance against Jacksonville last year was a one time deal apparently. He's got big problems. Lets go with TJ Yates for the rest of the year, fuck it.

So after three quarters of Hundley being Hundley the kid finally stepped up and made some plays and good throws to put the Packers ahead of the Bears. In true Packer fashion though , he injures his hamstring and is questionable heading into next week - I mean why wouldn't that be the case for Green Bay this season? Finally looks like we might be able to at least be competitive in games moving forward , Hundley looks like he made some progress and gained confidence and now we might be on the third stringer.
The defense was still terrible , Dom Capers is a moron. The announcers were gushing over it for a period in the 3rd and beginning of the fourth quarter when we held the Bears offense to 0 yards but it was only a matter of time before Capers ineptitude reared it's ugly head. Defense being completely caught off guard by screen passes on third and long and getting completely burnt over the top by an offense that has trouble throwing it five yards down the field.
Nick Perry played lights out and should be DPOTW , but at the end of the day we caught a few breaks with a fumble at the Goalline that resulted in a touchback and just the fact that Chicago runs a terrible offensive scheme for the most part.
And I'm so sick of announcers I spend half my time screaming at them - I don't think there was a period of this game where it went three snaps without them talking about Rodgers. Offensive , defensive , special teams ... all they talked about was Rodgers. I get it , every fan gets it , we miss him but it's been a month now and it might be time to comment what's actually on the field.

Seeing how many empty seats there are at the Coliseum, I'm starting to second guess myself whether L.A. deserved to have the Rams back. I thought L.A. supported winning teams. I think it's just that stadium, I think once they get the new stadium rocking everybody will jump on the Chargers/Rams bandwagon. I could be wrong but from what I gather the Coliseum is in a shitty part of LA that is somewhat inconvenient to get to, people only show up for big time games or big time stars. Plus it's so big, it seats over 100,000 so even a decent size crowd of 50,000-60,000 the stadium still looks half empty(because it is). I was surprised at how many Texans fans they kept showing though, seems like they were showing more Texans fans than Rams fans whenever they would show a closeup of a fan. The crowd was clearly there to see the Rams though, the fans that were there were pretty supportive of their team.

Remember that they came in numbers when Philly visited the Chargers.

The Dolphins got run all over on. Cam ran for 95 and Jonathan Stewart (the 2nd worst RB in YPCA) ran for over 100. Jonathan Stewart also became the all time leading rusher in Panthers history. Shows how poor of a running game they've always had. That defense is really strong for Carolina and it's going to help them big time in this playoff push.
As for the Dolphins, it blows my mind that Damian Williams is still "technically" the #1 RB. That's two games in a row where Kenyan Drake outplayed him. Just let Drake be the starter and enough with that committee bullshit.
