If it was up to me, it'd be the Young Bucks/Mechanics and I wouldn't even hesitate. It's time to show the masses what the Mechanics were capable of and just let them kill it together. That keeps both teams busy and allows some other teams to establish themselves and ensure the tag team division remains strong.
I'm really excited to see them come in. AEW has really strengthened their grip on me with Brodie Lee and now The Mechanics.

I think they would be a better fit in NWA as well while AEW gives a lot of time to tag teams. They really don't seem serious about their team team division. If they went there I feel they would lose constantly atleast at first and blame the refs for ignoring a lot of tag team rules. There is also the fact AEW has had two single's guys as tag team champions for far too long.

The Revival vs. The Young Bucks is one of the big dream matches I have that's still possible. The Young Bucks athleticism with the best tag team in the world at putting together a match that tells is a story is a perfect combination. They better save this for when crowds are back and make it huge.

The Revival should go to the NWA for a spell...they won't, but that's where they should go. Then go make stupid money in AEW.

Arguably they did have the best tag team match in a generation.. against two guys that could wrestle a broom to 5 stars.

Do not want them in AEW because their egos are toxic. RoH or NWA would fit them well and if they can show the ego was a WWE thing only, then they have a strong future.

Knowing your worth and not wanting to waste your time as comedy jobbers does mean you have a toxic ego. The Revival are the best tag team in the world and have the opportunity to do something special in AEW. Wanting to do that rather than just be happy collecting a big paycheck in the WWE with no creative satisfaction does not mean you have a toxic ego. They have done everything that is asked of them, including making themselves look plenty stupid on the way out. I hope they have the huge success they deserve.

The hate for the Revival in this thread is ridiculous. If you don't like them, you don't like them, but how are they toxic? Because they want to put themselves over as underused and underappreciated, which they are? The business needs more like them, maybe then Vince McMahon will stop hoarding guys and we can all have the wrestling market we all want.

Good for The Revival, glad they got out. They should have had a pretty awesome feud last year with The Usos, but horrible "storyline" that was used to humiliate The Revival ruined it for me. I wish they could get a one-off match in Impact, cause I'd love to see these guys versus The North, would be a good match. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing what they do post WWE. meh, I hope they start from the bottom & reprove themselves. Dash & Dawson haven't done jack shit since their time in NXT. Outside of a select few, who has though? Most NXT call ups end up doing jack shit on the main roster.

AEW is overcrowded with tag teams and yeah the Bucks/Revival match would be cool but where do you go from there? Best Friends, Dork Order, Butcher, Blade & Bunny? Lucha Bros?
AEW is too tag team friendly IMO. They try and stick these mega teams together ala Omega and Page just because TV time.

I'd be down for Revival vs. Bucks, vs. Best Friends, vs. Lucha Bros., vs. SCU. I reckon it would be some good tag team action.

I mean, why do you think WWE finally relented and let them go just now when they were to keep them doing shit until their contracts ran out?
Either they continue to go without work for as long as this whole situation lasts (a long time, tbh), or they debut on an empty arena, neutering any potential impact.
Granted, it's rumored that one (if not both) were not actually getting any more money from their contract due to hitting their downside so yeah...

So they are now going by Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler. And they’ve changed their tag team name to The Revolt.

They should have called themselves "The Tag Team". Imagine the ring announcing when they become tag team champions of wherever.

And instead of names, they should go by Tag Team Partner 1 and Tag Team Partner 2. I might actually come around on Revivolt if they did something like that.

Their run in NXT, producing tag team matches of the century with American Alpha and DIY, and generally being a compelling tag team, an extremely rare thing in modern wrestling. Tag team wrestling has been in a slump for years, and The Revival are one of the very very few genuinely good tag teams around. The Revival is such a fitting name as well, reviving tag team wrestling.
Not seen any of their main roster work, but from what I've heard WWE booked them into oblivion and they never did anything of note. Shocker.

In fairness to the WWE, they debuted them well and set up a feud with The New Day, but then one of them got injured. Then when the other got better, the healthy one got injured - so timing wise, things beyond anyone's control screwed things up. Then, by the time they both got healthy again, Vince's short-term memory loss kicked in and they forgot what they had. They had a few glimpses of getting pushed, and won both sets of tag titles briefly; they also had a very cool short-term partnership with Randy Orton, featuring a devastating elevated RKO - but by then it was clear they wanted out so they jobbed them up in comedy style.
They also worked better in NXT because if someone is so undeniably good, they were able to have major feuds and main event pay-per-views as a tag team. That ceiling exists in main roster because Vince just doesn't see the value in tag team wrestling.

The Revival vs. American Alpha - NXT Takeover The End The Revival vs. DIY - NXT Takeover Toronto The Revival vs. AOP vs. DIY - NXT Takeover Orlando I think this will show you a good variety while showing them at the height of their powers. Feel free to give different options Emperor,. You also might like to watch The Revival vs. Hawkins & Ryder from the Wrestlemania 35 pre-show. It's short, but it shows how much potential they have in putting babyfaces over in a way I think you'd enjoy.

They also had a strong showing few months ago vs Fish/O'Reilly at an NXT show as well.
I think The Revolt's biggest contribution in WWE main roster was when Wheeler clocked that moron fan who went and jumped Bret Hart during last year's HOF special guest speaking.

If we had been including Tag Teams in the favourite wrestlers countdown at the minute - they would have made my top 30 easily and potentially top 20. That the tag team scene and the women's scene both underwent such revivals (excuse the pun) at the same time is what made earlier NXT so great. Now every match feels the same, and it's all a Smackdown vs. Raw button smash.
