Don’t forget that they’re the only Triple Crown Tag Team champs in WWE history and were the first team to win the NXT tag titles twice. Those matches PB posted are incredible. Definitely watch them if you don’t get them. Also I have to say, my opinion of them spiked even higher when I saw them live. I already liked them, but after seeing them work a match live, they became my favourite team in all of wrestling. Not all-time (that goes to the Dudleys) but currently, I don’t think they can be beat. They look like they’re not even trying and they work circles around anyone they’re in the ring with. It’s amazing to see, and something about seeing them work the ring and the crowd live pushed that feeling to 11.

Can you recommend me three specific matches from NXT? Genuinely curious to watch and review. The Revival vs. American Alpha - NXT Takeover The End The Revival vs. DIY - NXT Takeover Toronto The Revival vs. AOP vs. DIY - NXT Takeover Orlando I think this will show you a good variety while showing them at the height of their powers. Feel free to give different options Emperor,. You also might like to watch The Revival vs. Hawkins & Ryder from the Wrestlemania 35 pre-show. It's short, but it shows how much potential they have in putting babyfaces over in a way I think you'd enjoy. You win by being first to recommend three. These will be the three. Weekend project! (Weekend project also includes finishing Night 2 of CoronaMania 36) And now that you mention it, I do recall the The Revival vs. The Suite Life of Zack & Curt pre-show match and thinking it was awesome. I guess I just attributed more of that matches excitement and success to the hometown team being motivated to perform and being rooted on by the homers in the crowd? But sometimes it's easy to forget it takes four to tango. I might rewatch that match again for good measure, just because I do recall it being honestly pretty great.

I was clamoring for a Revival vs AOP match at that point in time, but I guess they didn't want to book a heel vs heel match so that's the closest we got. Is that American Alpha match the two out of three falls? That's definitely their best match, but they also had a one fall match against American Alpha that was also phenomenal. Can't remember if it was on a TakeOver or on NXT TV.

But a straight up match between them would have been awesome. I think the 2/3 falls match was on NXT TV but I'm too lazy to look up which one.

My brother from a different mother bought us tickets to see a house show and I found what I'd been missing. When the cameras are off and the ceiling is lifted, you actually see who has the talent, why they are where they are. House shows are a treat. I think that's why NXT is so enjoyable because it doesn't limit them as much as performers as the Main Roster.

Of course 🤯 doesn't like The Revival. Of course. I just want to make you all aware that this is the second post in the history of PW that 🤯 has not liked. I take the likes for granted sometimes, but sometimes you don't know what you got until it's gone. I am literally weeping right now. RT liked that same post, so that's some consolation.

Yeah, I’ve always enjoyed myself more at house shows. The fans actually want to be there, the wrestlers have less pressure, and it is just generally more fun. The worst show I’ve ever been to was Summerslam in Toronto when Orton won the title. I was so fucking bored and the crowd sucked. Best show was the first house show I took my daughter to. She loved it. Finn Balor and The Good Brothers opened the show and were unannounced guests, so the place erupted and just stayed at that level throughout. Also honourable mention to my very first house show, which was right before the invasion kicked off. Chris Jericho was fighting Rhyno and Lance Storm came out and superkicked Jericho while he had Rhyno in the Walls of Jericho. Show was in Toronto and people went fucking nuts. Storm debuted on Raw the next night.

Totally an oversight if that's the case. Sometimes I click like on my phone, then back, and sometimes I think it erases my like. Thank God you helped me think of a new System!

🤯 The Revival have my seal of approval. I was really into them for about a month before I got distracted by the next shiny thing. They're an old school NWA style team who would be perfect for Powerrr. My favorite match of theirs was against American Alpha at a Takeover where AA won the tag titles. I had never seen either team before but I came out of that loving The Revival and liking American Alpha. =================== RT and iron maiden I've seen a lot of people over the past few years say they enjoy house show more than tv tapings, but it was the opposite for me back when I went to WWE shows. Always found tv tapings far more exciting. Nothing important ever happened at house shows and most of the wrestlers dogged it on house shows back in my day. It was also super depressing to be in these cavernous 10000+ seat venues with only like 1000 people there as once happened at a 1996 Washington DC area house show.

They should have called themselves "The Tag Team". Imagine the ring announcing when they become tag team champions of wherever. kinda like when CD and Kaz were the world tag team champions of the world

Now that I've finally finished watching all of CoronaMania 36, I had every intention of watching those Revivolt matches... but I hear Wife stirring upstairs, so I'm guessing she's probably awake, which probably means no Revivolt until possibly tomorrow morning's coffee constitutional. I also need to get into the basement for my workout I deferred to today from yesterday (gotta make sure I stay looking physically better than Tag Team Partner 1 and especially Tag Team Partner 2 after all!) -- and then there are chores, etc. so who knows what the rest of today holds. But honestly, excited to be pleasantly surprised and have my mindset reversed re: Revivolt!

To me, the Revival are the true essence of tag team wrestling. Their early NXT work with American Alpha, DIY, and AOP helped revitalize my love for tag team wrestling. WWE has done their job of damaging tag team wrestling over the years, and they helped fix that for American wrestling. Personally, I would love to see them go to New Japan and have the Good Brothers go to AEW.
