I had the Saints as my own number 10. I like that they are really the only black and gold jersey in the NFL and combined with their logo - it makes them look kind of regal on the field. I prefer their black on black with the gold numbers and helmets but the gold pants aren't that bad either. I'm not the biggest fan of their away jerseys - especially an all white look but it's not the worst.

Also like that their main colors and such haven't changed a TON over the years. The shade of gold has a little but overall it's not some complete wholesale change that turned them into a gaudy mess.

I’ve been having my eye on a Micheal Thomas color rush. I need to pull the trigger.

Overall, I have a Reggie Bush jersey, a Marques Colston jersey, and 3 Brees jerseys. In addition, the very first football jersey I owned was a Rams Marshall Faulk jersey.

I miss Deuce so much. ESPN reaired the return to the Dome game this week and seeing Deuce out there running people over and the Dome chanting “Deeeeeuuuuuuuuccceeeee!” warmed my heart. He is a cult hero around here and I actually got to meet him in person when Academy opened in my town. Such a nice person. I will mail you a Deuce jersey one day and you can send me a Packers jersey.

That’s seems like a fair deal. I’d have to go with Jordy or probably Sterling Sharpe!

Deuce is great. Fantasy god for me back in the day.

I am so disappointed that I didn’t get a list in. Haven’t had time to do so but this is a list I am very much looking forward to.

I would have the Saints easily in top 5. That black and gold look is snazzy as hell. Saints merchandise looks pretty hot as well.

I had the Saints at number 4, always was a big fan of the fleur de' lis logo and to a lesser extent the color scheme.

I had the Saints at #9 and that was too low in hindsight. You guys touched on most of the reasons why the Saints unis are so snazzy. The black & gold is a sharp looking color combination. The fleur de lis is a cool symbol which pays homage to the French history of the region. Too many teams are constantly tinkering with what works to ever diminishing returns. Not the Saints. Their unis have looked more or less the same for 50 years. Fwiw my favorite Saints combo is the black tops with gold numbers and gold pants. Since UT & @theshow mentioned Saints merchandise....

Storytime~! The Saints were my favorite team from 1987-1994ish. They typically got off to hot starts before fading down the stretch and either just missing the playoffs, or getting bounced in their first playoff game. Being a Saints fan built character.

Anyway, I was in middle & high school during the Golden Age of Starter jackets. Every tru sports fan whose family could afford one had a Starter jacket. I was lucky enough to have two. A lighter Phoenix Suns jacket for spring & fall. And a big, beautiful, puffy, gold Saints coat for the harsh Maryland winters. I loved my Saints coat. Probably wore it every single winter day for a few years. There was only one other kid in school with a Saints coat- this dude named Jeremy who transferred to my school in 7th grade. We became friends based on our coats. True story.

Oh, and I had a Saints hat too. It was black with a gold brim and gold writing. The "New Orleans" was written in cursive and the "Saints" in print. There was an outline of the state of Louisiana with a fleur de lis in the middle.

*Couldn't find a picture of either jacket or hat. Sad.

I liked the Saints' "Dome Patrol" era unis better.

I kinda liked seeing the dark jerseys with the white numbers and gold trim, more than I do with what they have now.

I just made my top 10 list to see how I would’ve had it and the Saints wouldn’t have made my list. I get the love for it but to me there’s nothing that stands out about it. I get it though but not my cup of tea.

I’m very big into flashy looks or legendary colors. The Saints don’t hit either one for me.

Ohhh starter Jackets. That should be it’s own Top 10. Charlotte Hornets would be my #1 with a bullet.

And yeah the Saints jerseys aren’t distinctly different , especially not enough to make them separate on a countdown.

I didn't catch this one, but Steelers gold on all black are the best, and any other outcome at #1 was obviously fixed by the Russians.



Also, if we're only talking main home/away and not variances, then just the normal black and gold with the white numbering.

These jersey's are fucking hideous. They look like prisoners putting on a new jail line fashion show because the black and white is just tooo drab. From the stripes right down to the stupid brown pants and striped socks. Yuck.

And it's still black and yellow.

Those are hideous! Who in their own mind would vote for something like this?

How the fuck did these ugly ass jerseys make it over the classic Saints jerseys?

If this were the standard Steelers jerseys or their color rush ones I’d understand. Their color rush is one of my favorite jerseys in the NFL.

Special Bonus Worst Uniform: Jailbird Bumblebee Steelers

And this is coming from a Steelers fan! They have been my favorite team since 2000. I own a bunch of Steelers merch including Big Ben & Troy Polamalu jerseys. But you know what? Those jerseys are most decidedly not the jailbird bumblebee. Because the jailbird bumblebee is the most hideous uniform in NFL history.

Who in the hell voted for this garbage?? Those are easily the most hideous uniforms ever created. I would rock Tampa Bay's creamsicle unis before I even THOUGHT of putting this on.

I have a feeling that 🤯 is to blame for this.
