For all of us i'm sure this is different. In this day and age, it could be something like getting someone famous you follow on Twitter to like or RT something you send them.
For others it could be finding that perfect parking space after circling the mall.
I found out recently that for me, getting a shout-out on a gaming livestream made me really bloody happy. After the buzz wore off, I wondered exactly why something so small in the grand scheme of things made me so happy. Then I thought fuck it, just enjoy the rush of feeling so happy.
Since things have been so dark here lately with certain OT threads, let's talk here about the little things that have really made you happy.

My little 2 year old neice, she is very small and when I think about it she has really lit up my life over the past 2 years. She looks identical to my little sister that passed away 4 years ago, every once in a while she will make a face or smile and I see part of my sister in her and it just warms my heart over. Me and that little girl have developed a very close bond, I love that punk more than my own children. It's crazy how life works out sometimes.

There are few things in life that bring a smile to my face more than hitting all green lights on the drive home from work. It's a rarity but when it happens it's quite a thrill.
Winning a close game of Madden. Just the pressure on every play and then to have it all pay off...it feels pretty amazing even though their really are no stakes. lol
Getting a smile from an attractive female. That shit...I don't know how that works but it's just like an instant feel good mood booster that can leave you on a high for hours. Even if all it happens to be is a smile or maybe you just lock eyes and there is just that thing there. Doesn't have to lead to anything at all but man, something like that literally will pick up my whole day.
My kid coming to live with me again which I guess is no little thing but it's a thing that has made me happy lately. It's been great having her back on a full time basis because really at the end of the day, even though she is my kid and things have sometimes been difficult for a variety of reasons I won't get into, she's also oddly my best friend. Maybe that isn't the best thing but it's just kind of how it all turned out.

I like the completely random stuff. I could literally listen to any song every recorded at any time. But when you're in the car, and a great song comes on - it's perfect.

Awhile back I tweeted to Kevin Smith about his recent film, Yoga Hosers. It was getting a lot of bad reviews and such by critics, so when I watched it after it was added to Netflix and I really enjoyed it actually. I tweeted out to him that I liked it and thought it was great, fun, silly movie and to keep up the great work, he eventually favorited my tweet to my surprise which made had me elated for awhile that one of my favorite directors liked a tweet of mine. Also a bit more recent, I tweeted out to Pretty Peter Avalon (Indy wrestler for those that don't know) about him being one of the paramedics that appeared on Smackdown, saying something along the lines of "oh that paramedic looks awfully familiar" while tagging him and he eventually liked my tweet leaving me elated again. Another time way back Tyler Breeze retweeted something I said as well when he was still on nXt, so that was cool too.
