Movie Synopsis

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes -- Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash -- it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Lucky for me I'll be seeing it free. I expect disappointment after seeing Batman vs Superman

I liked Suicide Squad, but I really think they got lucky with Wonder Woman. Hopefully this is decent, but it's gonna be an uphill battle. Probably won't see it for a week or two.

From what I'm hearing some really either don't like it or find it decent, calling it at least a fun experience with flaws. Most say it's better than Batman v Superman tho.

Concensus seems to be it's a flawed movie (no surprise considering two directors and reshoots), sort of a mess, but the cast all work great together, making it at least that enjoyable. About what I expected. Hope to see it Sunday.

They finally got Superman right. "They" being Whedon.

Fuck Batgirl, he needs to direct Man of Steel 2.

I for one believe, the entire DCEU is rushed. It's a knee-jerk reaction to the MCU. It's a mess. Suicide Squad was god awful to the point, I was almost angry in the cinema. BVS was average at best, at best... MOS was meh, maybe Ok, I guess. Wonder Woman, yeah.. Ok.

Definitely a welcome step in the right direction, think the critics are somewhat tripping, like, no way Thor 2 was better than this, and that got almost double the positive reviews. Superman's CGI lip was the main negative I took from the movie, and it seems that 99% of his scenes were reshot, because only 1 scene or so seemed to have his real lip. Still, great chemistry amongst the cast, whole thing flowed well, some excellent scenes, sure, the plot was pretty weak and Steppenwolf felt like the miniboss he is. But it was still a fairly solid effort, mostly where it needs to be. MOSTLY.

I went and saw Justice League over the weekend, not quite as enjoyable as Wonder Woman, but better than the other movies in the DC Extended Universe. Kid Jericho, pretty much hit the nail on the head, this is the best performance from Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel. I also want to say, I was wrong about Gal Gadot, I honestly didn't think she could pull off the role of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, but man she has really been one of the bright spots of this universe that they are trying to build.

I want this to work, as someone who reads comic books and looks forward to the movies coming out, I want WB/DC to have a successful movie universe, because as a fan, it means only good things for me, so I really hope they can make this work in the long run, but I dunno.

Finally saw it tonight. Thought it was pretty good myself, and my second favorite DCEU movie right behind Man of Steel.


It wasn't perfect, and I think it could have used maybe just 10 minutes in the beginning, and Steppenwolf really was a mini-boss, but I thought the movie was really fun, the cast was great, the action was good, Superman's face didn't look bad at all and the people I went with didn't realize anything was wrong with it. All in all, was pretty good, and I think the reviews are ridiculous.


I'm very excited for all the solo films.



Also, those two end-credit scenes were awesome.

Saw it. Liked it enough, but can definitely label it as okay. Every line from Flash was cringe. I guess they're really big on having the League fight teams since they setup both Suicide Squad and whatever Luthor is doing. Marked out for seeing Deathstroke in the end. Of course the whole future is up in the air, so who the fuck knows.

I finally saw it last night. I like to go to the movies when the hubbub has died down and I can enjoy it without a bursting theater full of mouth breathers.

Was it perfect...no. Did I like it far better than I thought I would...absolutely. The two friends I went with did not see Superman vs Batman and I found you really kind of needed to as they were lost on a couple things due to that. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Gal Gadot as WW. She's perfect. One nitpick was how liberally Batfleck tossed his Bruce Wayne persona around often times in front of civilians which I find very odd for him as he is usually very careful to keep the two separate. A minor quibble. Overall I am pleased.

Batman was probably the weakest thing in the film. Which kinda sucks cause in Batman v Superman, he was in parts i liked. I liked his dialogue with Diana in this tho.
