Me too. My comic store opened back up yesterday, been closed for about 5 weeks. I have to go down there sometime, haven't picked up anything since first week of March.

Been catching up on TMNT series. I gave up on it after issue 25 because the art was atrocious. They of course immediately changed the artists and it turns out it's fantastic! Might be a series I end up looking to buy back issues of.

Yeah, Kuhn was terrible on TMNT, luckily he's infrequent on the series (does pop up a couple more times, maybe only on a mini-series or one shots), and really hits some great highs after him.

Hoping my guy is open next week or so, I had a hell of a backlog before the shutdown.

I sent an angry email to IDW and told them I dropped the series because they kept Kuhn on the art. One of only two times I've ever written to a comic. The other was to John Layman. He used to always post pictures of cats in the letter pages of Chew. My cat made it! 

Got to go in today, I've got almost a full short box to read, cost me just over 6 hundy...but at least I'm fully caught up now, owe no one or no thing at the moment.

Not actually tied to this thread, rather than idea of "missing comics" in general.

I never returned to collecting after the DC Comics Nu52 reboot in 2011.

I've had a comic pull box since I was 16, one that probably had 40-50 titles at it's peak, but the destruction and elimination of my generation's characters by Didio just killed things for me. The methodical devaluing of all of the 90s characters - Connor Kent, Tim Drake, Dick Grayson (as Nightwing), Kyle Rayner, Wally West (as Flash), Bart Allen - just ruined so much of what I loved. Even the company's attempts to return to normal after Rebirth and Bendis' Wonder Comics with a focus on the YJ crew just leaves me going "meh."

No interest in any creator owned, non-superhero comics KJ?

+1, I haven't read any Big Two stuff in what feels like years (but haven't bothered to update my pull list, which makes me like one of those people who doesn't cancel their gym membership except I have piles of paperwork to show for it rather than just a smaller bank account) but I'm more psyched by trades of other titles these days.

Michinokudriver, what have you been reading? I'm always up for some recommendations!

It's a ridiculously interesting premise -- don't know if you've heard of it before but

Meet Arcadia Alvarado, Governor of New Mexico and Presidential hopeful. She's dealing with immigration policy, budget cuts, an alcoholic ex--and she was abducted by aliens. Or was she?
Shadowy organizations, hypno-regression therapy, missing Roswell files, a lot to deal with while running for President and in a desperate act, Governor Alvarado seeks help from a disgraced, Harvard UFOologist who... might not be completely sane. It's a strange road to the White House but Alvarado is determined to get there because she has information that could stop an alien invasion and save the world.

In the hands of other writers it could be really really bad but it's a Paul Cornell book so I have high hopes.

Michinokudriver, interesting. I looked more into it. First two books at Vertigo, book 3 at IDW with a change in title to Saucer State, and then book 4 to be coming out sometime, possibly crowdfunded. If that does happen, sounds like a fun read. But I don't know if I want to invest in a story that only ends up being 75% told!
