Well this is just pathetic on my part.  Only one from Lony's list, and only 4 from System's.  On that basis, System takes it. 

I am torn between these two lists. For my tastes, I thought System ended a lot stronger but Lony had a better start. Steal wise I think Lony did a better one considering what other people said about games. After thinking about it a while I decided I like Lony’s list better based on the games I really like on System’s list are due to the multiplayer and friend involvement. And friends can make anything better. I really shouldn’t take away based on that but if I don’t I keep coming up a draw.

Both rosters have three games I love, but as a whole Lony's is more in line with my tastes.

Very tough choice, but I was a serious Wowhead for about 5 years, so that tilts the vote for System.

I've always been a gamer, I just haven't played the most recent titles yet.

Tony Hawk 3...the pinnacle of one of my favorite series of all time. Say what you want about some of the features that were added in later games, but few games can match the fun of the core gameplay of these games. The awesome soundtracks in the early games only helps. 

Halo: Combat Evolved...it set a new standard for the FPS genre on consoles. It was as cutting edge as a console game as we ever saw and I played through it with my friends in grade school a handful of times. 

Street Fighter 2...the fighting genre is far from my favorite, but it's reputation is well earned. 

Dark Souls...it's a game that helped make difficult games mainstream again. It's a masterclass in world design with equally imaginative enemies and a comprehensive combat system that never feels cheap.  The sense of growing stronger throughout the course of the game is very rewarding. 

Super Mario Galaxy...after the mild disappointment that was Sunshine, Nintendo finally gave us a worthy successor to Mario 64. In a time where the gaming landscape was grey and dark, this brought us the bright colors and whimsical folly that only Nintendo could provide.

Doom...a true classic. I remember playing the first two on my Dad's old PC when I was very young, he'd put in some cheats for me, and I'd feel like a bad ass, slaying countless demons. 

Metal Gear Solid 2...the first Metal Gear I played. It instantly made me a fan of the series. The larger than life and over the top action paired with immense melodrama is a combination that Kojima has become a legend in the industry for. Seeing how I was still in grade school when I played it and haven't played the first, the twist of being Raiden didn't negatively impact my enjoyment at all (I did think he was kind of whiny, but cute) and I was fascinated with all the characters and the cool spy shit going on. 

Sekiro...I'm not going to lie, I gave up after about 15 hours or so. I really liked it for what I played, and I'm glad to see From trying something new, but the immense difficulty just stopped it from being as fun as the Soulsborne games for me. I don't mind challenging games at all, but the patience that this one requires was just too much for me after a while. 

Final Fantasy 8...of the 3 mainline FF that were released on the PS1, this was is my second favorite, behind 9 and above 7. I really dig the the setting and premise, and always enjoy a good love story.

I would have voted for Lony.

This one, for me, was a case of Super Mario World vs. The World. Unfortunately, the numbers game overwhelmed SMW in the end.
