PW NEWS EPISODE 4
Our last broadcast netted in 12 individual non-🤯 likes. That's gotta at least be one of the most liked posts in PW Proboards History. Top 30 at the worst, right? We have the interns scouring the last 3ish years worth of threads to find out for sure. We just want those of you at home to know we hear ya loud and clear.
Tonight's top story is a celebration of PW gaining it's 150th member. Of course only about 30-50 of them could be considered active or semi-active, but it's something to congratulate ourselves for. No matter what you do you can't keep PW down for long. We're like annoying weeds in the yard, spray and spray but we keep coming back. Speaking of coming back look at who has joined us monsoon, former OT mod and PW poster from back in the day. Way back. No posts yet, so everybody @ him and make him at least say hello.
The newsroom has [BREAKING NEWS] to report as we just got an inside scoop into some potential countdown shakeups in the works. @ness has submitted a list to the Stiller/Sandler countdown. Yes, you read that right. Ness has not participated officially since the Top 10 Movies Starring Wrestlers countdown back in AUGUST. That's how big a deal this countdown is that he somehow did so while juggling lead anchor for PW News and penning his memoirs in Storytime with Ness. If he can find the time with all that on his plate as a friggin' essential worker certainly no one else has any excuse. I predict a slight edge in Sandler dominating, but with the higher spots going to Stiller. Would it all come full circle and they meet at #1 with Happy Gilmore with Stiller's extended cameo overtaking the title character itself? Only you can decide whether I'm a prophet or a dirty liar by submitting a list. Do it before UT makes the last call post.
As per usual we have Countdown updates. Twilight makes an appearance for Young Adults. Both it and Potter are heavy favorites going into the countdown and the only real question remains is who gets the bragging rights of most appearances? Ken Griffey Jr. opens up the next sports countdown with Careers Cut Short although just between you and me, 22 seasons doesn't really seem that short. Then again there's a reason I'm not covering sports here. No updates on the Favorite Wrestler side so the forum has taken upon itself to start a backdoor Best Moments in TNA list. So far so good starting with one of the matches that ushered in the Women's Revolution.
In Wednesday Night War news WWE overtakes NXT in total party thread posts with 3 vs. 2, which is dwarfed by comparing it to the NWA Powerrr party which spanned 7 PAGES of Gummy Induced Madness.
sandylea has reported a Rodney sighting, so all looks well for our friend. And just because he turned out to be a nose-picking disgusto who kicks people while they're down, don't let his slumlord tendencies stop you from listening to the latest System podcast episode with 1RealSmartAlex.
