Well, yes. Generally, anything but Steam is hated because it’s dividing things up and annoying to have multiple libraries. It’s like the streaming wars with a million Netflix alternatives being created.

However, Epic combatted this by beginning to offer free popular games weekly, many of which are AAA. I haven’t heard so many complaints since then. Free GTAV is hard to complain about.

Also this deal sucks because it's only on PC. I can't download it on PS4 unless I pay $40.

The bigger question is how do you two have PS4s and not already have GTA5. They gave it away with the system for a very long time. My buddy couldn't even sale his for $10 because everyone had a copy.

And yeah it is odd Steam is a monopoly everyone loves, and usually most people don't like monopolies.

Apparently Online was frigging awful for a while there. Rockstar has that problem for some reason. RDR2 online has only started to get good recently and that game is over a year old.
