Fisherman baffled after pulling 60 mystery cubes with bizarre inscriptions from UK river.

MYSTERY has arisen after a fisherman in Coventry pulled 60 bizarre cubes covered with sacred inscriptions from a river.

The cubes were found by Will Read, 38, while he was scouring the area for precious metals with his sons. Mr Read, from Finham in south Coventry revealed the objects on his Facebook page as he tried to gain any valuable information about the mysterious objects. The objects are believed to be linked to a Hindu prayer ritual which Mr Read discovered while sifting through River Stowe on May 8.

After taking a closer look at the cubes, Mr Read and his sons Jackson, five, and Benjamin, seven noticed neat inscriptions were engraved in grids on either side.

Mr Read said on Facebook: “We were out magnet fishing as our daily activity in lockdown and we were at a relatively isolated spot.
