Recommend free games you’ve enjoyed and the platform you’re on

I started playing Cuisine Royale a lot during the start of iso as a mate recommended it and it was a lot of fun, much more light hearted and Arcady than most BR games except for Fortnite.
Ironically it started as an April Fool’s day joke

Most that stay free on PS4 probably would be MMOs. DCUO is a good one until you reach end game where you need to pay and need to use specific things for end game group content.

Skyforge is a lot of fun and you dont need to spend money unless you dont want to grind. The grind there is real.

Tera has a ton of cosmetics you could pay for but you dont really have to spend money on it. Of the three it doesnt feel like it has end game.

Smite is a MOBA that is really fun but I dont think the new player experience would be great. The training bots will attack together but the combos of real players now are much harder to stop.

If you guys are looking for free games, Epic Game Store gives one out every two weeks. They gave out Civ VI the other week, may still be up. Enter the Gungeon (the most american game ever) and Binding of Isaac both have been on there. Believe Terraria as well.

Ok free game now is Overcooked, and they moved it to weekly games.

Another cool free game that is a lot of fun is Teamfight Tactics.  It is an autochess game, so it is a match three style game where your units fight an army the other player picks out.  Having certain amounts of units of each type gives bonuses as do items you can get at certain points.  Super addictive game.  The League of Legends launcher should have it.

For fans of Diablo II, Path of Exile is insanely fun.  It basically is Diablo II if it kept expanding and getting more complex for the last 20 years.  While it is entirely free to play dropping a few bucks on it for more storage space is well worth the investment.  Game works on leagues and does four a year.  The next league starts in three weeks or so and looks to be one of the best to start with since it is not a kill speed league.  The game has one of the best character leveling systems in any RPG as it is based on an insane sphere grid.  When Harvest drops I will be going pretty hard on it, so if people opt to give it a try hit me up and I may be able to help with leveling gear as after a week I usually start vendoring the stuff.  Def play for free to check it out and if you like it get stash tabs during the monthy stash tab sale.  The only things you can pay for in this game are cosemtics and storage space though, the game itself is totally free for 100 percent of content.  No buffs are purchasable either so literally cannot pay to win.  Generally people play for a month, get bored, then come back 7 weeks later when stuff is added and the server is reset.

All this stuff is PC.  Some is on PS4.  I know POE is but sure how good it is.

POE is pretty good on PS4 unless they have a bad patch out. But for end game mapping and bosses an upgraded hard drive is recommended and even that you could still have extremely bad frame rate drop.
