So she's finally won the other women's belt. Like Alexa she's basically achieved all she can on both brands. Do you think it would be believable to put her in IC/US contention? I know these days violence against women is a no no so it's not likely to happen, but would you buy into her competing with men?

They'll just play up the gag of her being the first ever 16 time womens champ to keep that whole Ric gimmick going.

I wouldn't mind if she did but I don't think that will ever happen again. If you a woman in the WWE after you get the title then it becomes just how many times you can collect it.

She looks like she's probably as big as, if not bigger than Enzo.

I don't wanna see this because I doubt WWE can make whatever their version of intergender wrestling entertaining.

It's just embarrassing that she is a 6 time champion in two and a half years on the roster. How can anyone care about title changes anymore when the belts are flipped between her, Alexa and Sasha so quickly?

I think we could easily link this to the thread regarding the women's division being stale.
Alexa Bliss is a 4 times Women's Champion, and did this within 18 months of her main roster debut. Within 2 years, she could be a 10 times Women's Champion. That's not an exaggeration either. That's a possibility.
And furthermore as John Cena said to Roman Reigns, "I'm still here, because you can't do your job" and that's exactly the reality of the women's division. Very few of these girls are really good. Most are solid, decent workers, but that's it. I could argue the point again, that NXT hasn't served a lot of these girls well, NXT has capitalised on the fact, some are good in-ring workers, but has failed to teach them how to be anything more than a good wrestler. Success in NXT is really determined on workrate above anything else, and people assume this will naturally allow them to find success on the main roster. Nope. Ask Finn Balor how that's going.
Alexa Bliss didn't have the fortune of being a great 'wrestler' instead her success came through her charisma and character work, and guess what? That's how you find success on the main roster.
So the WWE will continue to go back to the likes of Charlotte and Alexa, because the rest of these girls can't do the job as well.

There is no John Cena figure in the women's division who hasn't been pushed out of the way because the new generation are no good. Charlotte, Sasha and Alexa ARE the new/"Roman Reigns" generation. They are all just a few years into their "TV careers" and already seem stale because of over exposure, brought about by a variety of factors, but not because they're not good wrestlers. The idea that NXT didn't improve those girls is just silly. Alexa was a skinny fitness model who'd never wrestled in her life, go look at her early promos when she first started in developmental and compare it to what she's turned into now. Go at look at Sasha's promos from the indies, there's not a whole lot there that suggested she would turn out to be a superstar. Very few people pegged her for success. As for the girls in developmental right now - Peyton is an excellent example of someone finding a character in NXT. She was always a vanilla babyface on the indies and now is part of a great heel duo that no one understands why they aren't getting used more/called up yet. I'm not paying attention, but I'm only reading positive things about Nikki Cross and her character. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the talent level, which is as good as it has ever been - it's all down to the booking.

In 5 years time, when we're having this same conversation, and while most are reveling in Charlotte's 16th Championship win, and you're asking yourself why has Charlotte achieved so much when there are so many credible female talents with much less to their name? The answer will be, they just ain't as good at being a WWE Superstar as she is.
Charlotte will become that John Cena figure. She'll be around that Championship for the next 10 years.
Presently, the problem with NXT, to paraphrase myself, you've got two different mindsets or ideologies, with two different audiences. NXT will develop you, build you, and teach you how to get over with the NXT fanbase. I've said nothing to suggest NXT doesn't do an exceptional job at this. They'll make you into a great NXT Superstar not necessarily a great WWE Superstar.

Sounds like HR is right. it comes down to booking on the main roster. Booking in NXT is fabulous. But the main roster...is shit. American Alpha are a good example. there was no reason to separate them. they were a solid tag team.
if Women like Natalya, and alicia were booked to make people care, they would be bigger stars. i still fondly remember Alicia's promo she cut after winning the divas title. No crazy gimmick...just Alicia being Alicia and really i think it was one of her best promos ever. then she was jobbed out in disgusting fashion and continuously buried and now...no one really gives a damn except hardcore fans like me.
Natalya was getting somewhere with her recent title run...but when i saw the title vs title match with Alexa coming, i had a feeling the rug would be pulled from under Nattie...
but remember...Paige is back now....so soon she will be back on the mountain as champ.

Charlotte is booked well, Alexa is booked well, The Bellas were booked well, AJ Lee was booked well, Paige was booked well.. maybe it has more to do with other workers inabilities to deliver or limited potential to.
I would state there's only so much trust in the other women to work in those roles, essentially carrying these divisions.
Could Nattie have had a good match with Alexa instead of Charlotte at Survivor Series, maybe. Maybe not. Would anyone care? You'd probably be asking, why not Charlotte instead of Nattie... it's a bigger match.
Alicia has had opportunities since winning the Diva's Championship, I fondly remember, maybe a year ago, she was handed the mic on RAW, and even she looked puzzled as to what came out of her mouth. What came next, was a look of realization that she had just blown another opportunity. Her matches are an awkward mess of botches and miss queues.
Bayley isn't a player, because she can't talk. She can't act to carry a program, and works a gimmick that would only ever make a neat live event act at this point.
Nattie is an socially awkward dullard, whose major quality, is her famous uncle.
Naomi is an uncharismatic black hole with zero personality whose all athlete and entrance and not much else.
Carmella is all character at this point. Who simply isn't ready for more.
Tamina simply can't deliver in the ring, or talk, or act, or really do much more than be tall and strong.
Nia Jax is one push away from being the division's Roman Reign. In a sense, she's not ready for it, she is currently all hype and bloodline, much like Reigns was after the Shield broke up.
I could go on, and on and on. The exceptions are Sasha and Becky.
Most of these girls are booked either poorly, or inconsistently, because they can only deliver so much in return. It's easy to blame poor writing, but you can't excuse the downfalls and shortcomings of the individuals.

Mate, if you can't handle a differing opinion, you're ironically in the wrong business running a discussion board.
