That's the question that the football world, and even some in Buffalo are asking. And the Bills' answer is that Peterman is their new starting QB, after benching Tyrod Taylor.
Buffalo has reached panic mode, despite still holding on to the second wild card spot. Think the Bills are done?

Just another chapter in the ridiculous disrespect the Bills have shown Tyrod over the years. He's shown that he's comfortably a middle of the pack type quarterback over the past couple of seasons, and the issue that Buffalo have had in their losses has regularly been the defense rather than quarterback play. I hope he finds himself a team in the off season that will finally back him, doesn't trade away all his weapons, and bench him the moment he has a bad half.

Steelers off to a fast start. Up 10-0. Big Ben to AB for a TD and the Steelers get an interception and FG right after. Still early, but the Steelers are looking good.

Big Ben is a shell of his former self physically. He can no longer escape the rush like he used to and is really struggling to throw outside the numbers.
Marcus Mariota shows you a very occasional flash of what he could be, but it's never quite enough for me to be convinced that he is ever going to really be a upper echelon quarterback.

He might not be as strong as he used to be, but he was still shrugging off defenders, and when they went up tempo, his throwing was back into his old form, just on point. It was a 40-berger and there was, I think, 2 dropped TD's. Hopefully can continue the improvement back to form he showed in this game.
Bryant showed why he's taking a lesser role, botched almost every chance he got, saving Brown's fumble was the his main contribution to the game. It's clear Juju is the #2 right now.
Also, does anyone have a highlight reel like Brown has a highlight reel? It's amazing.

I'm having nightmares about the Texans upcoming game against Pittsburgh and it hasn't even happened yet. Not going to be pretty.

Yeah I watched as much of the game as I could last night and those camera angles are infuriating. I get that they are trying to do something different and trying to engage fans in a different way but you can't see shit , and the depth perceptions totally get's thrown off.

I thought I was of the minority of disliking the camera angles. I feel like everyone is trying to make me like it. Especially broadcasters and talking heads. I don't like it and I thought I was just being me; disliking new things.
Anyways, I picked the Steelers to win the AFC in the preseason and they looked amazing last night. I mean, yeah, Mariotta played like trash having his worst game of his career but still. Antonio Brown was just clowning defenders with ease in this game.

I thought I was of the minority of disliking the camera angles. Over on the NFL comments section for the game, basically every other comment was complaining about the camera. I didn't so much have a problem with it, but it did have its issues.

Ya'll got to get rid of those poverty boxes and get a real f'n TV!
I like watching the offensive line vs defensive line battle, that camera view showed it pretty nicely. I really liked the shot where Marriota threw that second interception, that was a great shot. It definitely has room for improvement with the zooming and cropping, seems like it would be better if they zoomed back a little further and tilted upward slightly to show more of a downward view, I don't know. I've always liked that camera shot when they show the instant replays with it, always wanted to see it used more in the live game broadcast. I dig it. Surely in 2017 with all this technology they can give the viewer the option to select whatever camera view they want, also should have the option for commentary being turned on or just hearing stadium sounds or fuck even some NFL films music for the live game!
I've reached a point with both football and MMA where I think I would just enjoy it more without commentary, just hearing the sounds of the crowd and the sound of the game would be better I think, I don't really need somebody constantly talking and telling me stuff.

1 day they'll have a setting on the TV that will allow people to select the camera angles they want. It will be dope.

I got a kick out of Goff's "Ric Flair" audible against the Texans.
One camera angle I think would be cool in small doses would be like a first person view of the quarterback's view, put a camera in their helmet. Would probably be cool to do a middle linebacker too. First person football!

Some big games today. So amped for football this season. Minus the political bullshit and the injuries, it's been neat seeing so many new faces at the top. I can't wait to see how this Rams/Vikings game goes. I think the Rams win and the Seahawks lose tomorrow, which would give the Rams a comfy lead in their division. Then there's SNF with the Eagles and Zeke-less Cowboys. I wonder if the bye slows down the Eagles. We also have football in Mexico and it feels like this is going to be the toughest road game for the Patriots all season. Let's face it, the Patriots are the republicans of the league and they're traveling to Mexico. Build the wall and yada yada. Should be loud and should have some green lights being pointed in Brady's eyes. I got the Raiders winning this one. We may also get some shitty weather games today. Snow and wind.
Leanord Fournette might not play. Devonte Freeman is out. Kam Chancellor is out and may miss the season. The boom falling apart. Love sports.

Back when I cut the cord I invested in a really good antenna, I get about 25 to 30 channels free over the air in SUHD, I'm picking up CBS and Fox channels from the local area that I didn't get with cable. Today I've got Cardinals vs Texans on one Fox(Tyler) and Redskins vs Saints on another Fox(Shreveport) on top of whatever games the CBS stations are playing, all in ultra-HD for fucking FREE! If I still had cable I wouldn't even be able to watch the Texans game today unless I streamed it illegally(which is always a pain in the ass, but I do it whenever local stations don't play Texans games). Fuck cable, I'll never pay for that shit again.

I really hope Texans can get their shit together and make a run for that 6th wild card spot, I feel like even with the injuries this team is just as good as any of the teams in the running for that spot, I've seen the Redskins get it together under Joe Gibbs and win out to make the playoffs in 2005 and 2007(and in 2012 with Shanahan/RGIII I believe they won out after starting 3-6), I believe this is that type of coaching staff that can put together a run like that, especially with some of the teams on the remainder of our schedule. If the Skins could win out to steal the wild card spot in 2007 with Todd F'N Collins I got to believe we can do it. If it's going to happen it's gotta start today. LETS GO!!!!!

Hey Shin, guess what?
Today, Andre Johnson becomes the first ever member of the Texans Ring of Fame. He's getting a halftime ceremony.
Leanord Fournette is ACTIVE today. Let's go.

Andre Johnson=best player in NFL history, he deserves a statue out front, I think it's a little early for a Ring of Honor, can only think of 2 other guys worthy of being on it, one of them hopefully will still be playing for a few more years, the other just got shipped out of town over political bullshit and probably won't be honored by the team any time soon, if ever.

I wonder if Kamara has done enough to pass Hunt’s hot start for offensive rookie of the year. He had some big plays down the stretch to enable that huge comeback victory. This Saints team feels special this year. That was the kind of game they needed to win.
Also, helps that the Redskins shot themselves in the foot with some stupid penalties and a questionable challenge that lost them an important timeout late in the game.

Petermans debut has been trash. 4 interceptions, 3 in the first quarter. I benched Keenan Allen in my money league for Corey Davis and I hate it.
