Has anyone played Valorant yet? New hero based shooter, meant to be like Counter-Strike meets Team Fortress? I can't say I have myself but I'll give it a look sometime this week.
Otherwise it's TLOS month and now that the heat has died down, I'm just keen to see how it plays. So far the gameplay does look pretty impressive and as long as the game can enhance the tension of the original, I still think it can be a great game, controversial plot beats or not. I'm leaning towards letting it slide till around Xmas, but if the reviews are promising I could be swayed.

Ninjala (Switch) Pokemon Expansion (Switch)
Ninjala is free to play, so no real harm in checking the game out. I know a lot of people were hating on Sword/Shield but I enjoyed the game, the expansion pass gives me an excuse to go back to the game.

I still need help completing my dex in Shield, does anyone have Sword?
I didn't mind Sw/Sh, it was just the campaign that sucked. I'm not sure if Sun/Moon were like this because I'd usually go off the beaten path to collect monsters, breed etc. but it was just a slog of rival battles with very little room to explore. It picked up in the post-game where you could actually explore some of the areas without being confronted by another mandatory battle, but as far as the first home console release, it was pretty underwhelming.
I'm tenative about the expansion, I really need to go back and check the trailer because all I'm aware of are the pseudo legendaries.

Just TLOU 2 for me. I am so hyped for it, and I think I can squeeze in a run of TLOU before the second part arrives. Emperor knows I go to a lot of conventions and I was very lucky to meet Troy Baker last year, and got my copy signed by him. He obviously couldn't say much about TLOU 2 but did say he couldn't wait for us all to see what they've got for us. 9 days away, argh.
