PREDICTING SUPER KAWAII DESU: Looks like I failed everyone. I did not win the predictions game. Turns out you have to get everything right with no errors. I missed a few match predictions, but I'm now on the board. Least I'm not in last place, so hopefully I can jump a few slots next time. I will win a future season for sure. Although knowing my luck Davy will join the Navy like in Pianoman and the whole game ends! But looks like all the joshi ladies are doing their 1-2-thing. ESCAPING THE SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS: Owen and Christian make the next entries into our Favorite Wrestlers. Christian actually gets one over on Edge by placing higher. Owen's chances seem to be about the same as usual. Christian is one of those guys where people seem to really dig him or people don't see the appeal. No one really hates the guy. Well, except for Vince and it makes you wonder why he kept using him. He could've been a Stevie Night Heat resident like Gangrel. Not much talk for Owen sadly, so go give him some love. 1994 was his year, he broke Austin's neck AND NEVER SAID SORRY, master of the ribs, among other accolades. Give us your thoughts.

RANDOM UPDATES: Another made-up Center is revealed in the Sports Countdown. I guess they save the pushes for different positions, but can't say I've heard of anyone lately. Need more super awkward mainstream press. For the Decade of Movies we see No Country For Old Men, which sounds like a bad WWF segment making fun of the older stars in WCW. Excellent movie according to the people, so it needs to be watched eventually. Get something ready for directors. Make it random. Hell, go with porn for all I care. Just submit something.

I also sing "Boats n Hoes" again with an extra verse not included last time because it was saved for a DVD extra!

Agree with Ness that Owen only would have been World Champ during a "thank you" run sometime between 2003-2005. And even then it would have taken a perfect storm of events for Owen to finally win the big one. 

According to ancient internet rumors, Meltzer gave the Jungle Gym ***** because he got a lot of backlash for not giving Wrestlemania *****.  I don't really believe that nowadays. Meltzer seems like the type to stick to his guns. But that is what people claimed back in the day.

Owen & Christian are very similar- both "second banana" Canadians who were good heels and good in the ring. Classic upper midcard types.

5 hours is a long time for anything, let alone a podcast.

I wish I hadn't drawn Ness in Animal Warfare. I did my write up an hour or two ago. Didn't go overboard with it. Had trouble with one battle.

Mike Webster was an offensive lineman. They're sort of like the football version of refs in wrestling in that the average fan isn't going to notice them most of the time unless they mess up. Webster is widely regarded as the best to ever play his position.

I too don't get why Christian is retired but Edge can unretire. Also, it would be so hilariously Christian if Christian just never gets inducted into the HOF. Also also, that fan probably attacked a Bret because he was upset over all the years of Bret being overpushed.

NJPW did cause Dave Meltzer to go full hard-R.

Edge never let Christian go over him because he's far more selfish than Bret.
