Is it a gay privilege that allows gay men to speak in derogatory terms towards women or use those terms as insults? Bitch, please? Oh, you're such a slut! I am getting old and prude enough I would be ok to see these words and language go away. If a rapper uses there terms too often the rapper has to defend himself as not a misogynist and that it is a character in his raps. Movies and TV seem to be concerned with using this type of speech. But if a gay man uses them even being completely being condescending it seems ok, almost protected. Like gay men are a protected class that can use this speech at will.
It doesn't seem right to me. It's not really like black people holding ownership over certain language and vocabulary. I don't see the grounds for entitlement here. Can anyone spit some theories on this?

I gotta commend you, dog. You've always got the most interesting threads for stimulating hard conversations and challenging the status quo. You're easily one of my favorite Devil's Advocates. I always get at least somewhat excited when I see you throw up a new thread. And I'm always surprised by the ideas you come up with for threads... It's like, I never would've actively thought of that but holy shit, I realize I do wonder about that!
I'm usually just a casual observer, but am drunk enough right now I though I should finally say something. I'll have to come back to weigh in on the actual topic at hand. But keep it fucking up like a Cialis hardon in the meantime.

I think when sexual motivation is disassociated from the insults they become more playful and less harmful.

There is defintely a privelige that exists with gay people. Just like there is a privelige that exists with all minority groups that allows them to be racist or whatever. It's not racism or sexism if you are the minority. Just like some people say visible minorities can't be racist, the same can be said about women and gays, they can't be sexist.
I don't agree with anything I just wrote, but that seems to be the consensus.

I think people today, are far too over-sensitive.

When the Miz was on Espn recently he was a bit accosted in Theresa for being the Miz and calling one of the panelists sweetie or honey or something in a condescending fashion. If he was full on gay and even being a full on dick it probably would have been ok.

Okay, I know that this thread was very obviously created in a way that was basically just another way of saying "Why can't I say the n-word, why is no one talking about how I am oppressed?" But I'm going to try and talk about actual problems within the LGBTQ+ community.
There IS a genuine problem with things like bi erasure and a lack of trans inclusivity or recognition. There IS a genuine problem within the community about an unwillingness to include or acknowledge nonbinary, asexual, and aromantic people. It's not a perfect, all-inclusive, all-loving community, and it will still need to grow and develop as time goes on.

Really, I'm just a bit more about speaking that way to women.
But to your point, I've asked a couple friends in the gay community about "where do you draw the line?". Do you accept transracial? Trans species? Tree kind? Dragon kind? And more seriously, I asked is there any fluidity and such they didn't feel was legit. The biggest things I heard was that there is a bit of dissertation in labelling of everything instead of just labeling it under question for queer. I heard openness to just about every kind of sex and gender fluidity but not the transpecies and such.
But in all honesty I think one of the biggest issues in the sexuality realm is pedophiles. I think more countries need to replicate project dunkelfeld to help pedophiles.
Also in the gay community I would love to see feminists not alienate the lgbtq+ community but embrace them.

My feeling is that if you can say it, I can say it. Whether it is a term regarding gender or race, if you can say it than you have no right getting upset with me saying it. And if you say it, I will.

I don't know. Never occurred to me to count. How do they feel about you call them by the N-Word? They know my feelings about the subject. They tend not to drop N-bombs around me because of it. The point is that either everyone can use it or nobody can.
