NEW ERA BEGINS: Lots of non-thread updates today. First PW via proboards was down for a little bit. Maybe even longer as I was napping for several hours after work. Looks like @admin is running a Twitter account to advertise/update us on things PW. This even led to balls signing up. Maybe they're unrelated, but he did join us after being gone for years. Remains to be seen if this was more of an undisputed return or Rogue where they actually stick around for a bit.

WRESTLE TALK: New Japan is back, which if you don't follow the news on the regular might surprise you to know they haven't been doing shows? I'm not sure, Google translate never formatted NJPW World that accurately for my taste. You'd think after 40 years they'd get rid of the tag "new", then again HBK called himself a kid well into his grandpa years so it's just a wrestling thing. Nothing new to report in History, so make sure you give Owen/Christian some feedback as Favorite Wrestlers down there. Also HR was a busy beaver because they started a fan fic in fan fic. Good place to do it I suppose.

SLICE OF PI: pduh has reported at the end of the month 🤯 will be returning for Slice of Pi. PW loved his talk about wrestling, so now it's time for his take on pop culture. Remains to be seen if it'll be cut off @ an hour like last time or if we're getting a 5 hr deal. I know PW would love that, but the producer likely has other plans. Of course that likely means PW News will be going on public broadcast that day since nobody will care about us when "Big Money" Pizzle is on the prowl. We promise to try and remain relevant until he puts us down like Old Yeller. We had a good run!

UPDATE STUFF: Sports Centers brings us Bill Russel, the Gorgeous George of Basketball? I dunno, we've discussed this before. You can tell he's an OG going by the picture. Black and white (heh), white guys on the court and those short lengths. He's a legend in all sense of the word. Decade brings us Saw, torture porn enthusiasts rejoice but also the masses general respect the original film. Still time to get your Director list in, but much like my hype of decade I expect you to either wait till the deadline or not do it at all. Lazy bastards!

That'll do it for legendary episode 30. I honestly thought it was gonna be longer, but maybe I spoke too fast? Hated that growing up. I'd type up 3 pages for a speech and then it only lasts 30 seconds of actual in front of the class time. Anyways I'm rambling about nothing at this point and don't know when to stop.

Before the exlax kicks in though, what was up with New PW being down?

I thought it was being slow and fussy early and tried convincing myself it was just my phone or wifi. But that didn't assuage the old PW crashes PTSD flashbacks.

Forums are fine, proboards advertised server maintenence with some possible downtime.

I really should have spread my news pop out - two stories in the one day! Good to get the @ admin tag out there though.

There was a guy named Showstopper (or something like that) who I liked. He was a hair metal and HBK fan. Brad was a good dude. Shame what happened to him. Coolstuff! Good poster! I feel like I'm missing a big name or two. 

I missed out on all today's forum glitches.

Masks are still prevalent here in the Baltimore area.

Can confirm PW's Favorite Wrestler Countdown will be updated tomorrow night. 

(Un?)Fun Fact: My 2000s friend Will hated Owen Hart. He claimed to have said "I hope Owen dies" right before Owen actually did die. I wrote this off as hyperbolic dark humor for the longest time. Until his friend or cousin (I was never sure which) Mike hung out with us one day and randomly said to Will "You killed Owen Hart, you bastard!" in the style of South Park. So, yeah, my friend Will killed my 2nd favorite wrestler of all time. What a jerk.

I have no real plans to leave, as long as there's things that interest me that I can take part in I don't see why I won't stick around for a while at least.  Maybe not as often as I have been, as I've been furloughed from work since the middle of March this year and they're talking about opening the shop so I guess I'll be going back in the next couple of weeks or so.

I love this round up of the happenings of PW, I am guilty of not visiting all the forums so it's a good way to see what's happening elsewhere, for lazy people like me.

I’m afraid c, whose name used to make more sense but is now a single letter, is the one who hit me up on facebook and let me know about this place being where the PW remnant was grouping up.

I wish I still cared about professional wrestling so I could use the top half of the board. Maybe someday we can have a board exclusively about whiskey, guns, weightlifting, and pussy or something, because I could steer that ship all day. 😂
