The fact that this is a ‘pay-per-view’ card and AJ/Bryan for the IC Title is happening on Smackdown shows so clearly where their priorities now lie.

Edge/Orton prediction: Randy dick-kicks Edge or some such thing, ending the match in less than five minutes (if not immediately, then after the feeling-out stage) and depriving us of watching what could be the Greatest Wrestling Match ever, that jerk!

Also: I choose to believe Charly was throwing "that'll put butts in seats" level shade at the match but no one in Creative got the sarcasm and decided to roll with it.

Just look at Orton after she says it. The expression on his face can only be described as "dafuqdidyoujustsay" and even Edge comes across as going "...uh..."

Didn't Bobby Lashley beat Drew in a TNA Championship match 4 years ago? Or is that one of those if a tree falls in the wood kind of things? I guess we can throw that form out the window and say Drew will win a ** match while I lay in bed, staring at my picture of TNA Bobby. The greatest ECW Champion of all-time deserves better than this and I think Drew needs a new manager because nobody wants to see this match now. Not even Paul Heyman was dumb enough to have Brock face Bobby. The only acceptable thing to do here is for Rusev to make a return, all beefed up and hell bent on violating social distancing protocols. Otherwise Drew wins in lieu of dropping the title to Edge. That's a future prediction and I'm accruing interest on it as we speak.

Cancel that, this was clearly an uninspired spin-off and unlike Get Him To The Greek this is going to bomb. This is going to be the This Is 40 of Backlash I'm telling you now. 1/4 * and all us AEW nerds are secretly laughing at you over our smashed avo and deconstructed ham sandwiches. Okay so Miz/Morrison eventually get control of the numbers game, they screw up and turn on one another. Morrison breaks away to give me that AJ Styles/John Morrison match I've waited 16 years to see while The Miz changes diapers. Strowman will continue to dominate, driving fans away from SmackDown at an alarming rate until THE BIG DOG saves the day. We then get the Goldberg/Roman dream match I was denied.

RAW WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP

Honestly, this is the toughest prediction to make because I feel Nia will pull a Brock at Wrestlemania XXX and just take the match anyways. We all saw what she did to Kairi, we all saw how she tried to cast aspersions on Ronda, nothing will stop Nia from getting what she wants. However, Asuka is great, if you log onto TikTok everyone is doing the Asuka dance, she truly is a cultural icon and a PW favourite. If the WWE is smart, they'll invest in Asuka and we'll get Asuka vs. Charlotte at SummerSlam and it will be the Ultimate Warrior vs. Hulk Hogan of the women's division. Clearly Rhea is winning at Wrestlemania XXVII or Evolution II to make her the new star of the show. As long as Asuka gets to be a central character, I'm fine, she doesn't need the luggage to be entertaining, it just makes dancing more difficult.

I'm starting to psyche myself out. It's like when you answer C all the time in a multiple choice test, they can't ALL be C, right? However, in this political climate they can't have Apollo lose? Plus, what does Andrade care about the US? Everyone will give it *** even though come the end of the show they'll at best only be able to recall one spot. Apollo is awesome, but nobody cares because he smiles too much. You can't be happy in this day and age, just miserable. You also have to sound half drunk, wear camo pants and bang a hot blonde Canadian on the regular.

I know, I know - Bayley/Sasha have been teasing a feud longer than 🤯 has been teasing Brocktober but hear me out. Who else is going Bayley going to face at SummerSlam? She's gone through everyone, so it's time and Sasha is seriously killing it lately with the fashion. I gave Bayley/Tamina an extra star on the outfit alone, seriously don't underestimate a good wrestling attire. Rey Mysterio Halloween Havoc 1997, HHH in white boots at WM XX, Steve Austin without the vest - okay maybe not that, but you get the point. Iiconics win after a year long absence after one of the worst umpiring calls since the 2006 Football World Cup. It was very UnAustralian and made me an AEW fan for all of 10 minutes.

This is easy! No, it will not be the greatest match ever. Thank you, thank you. Actually, I hope they go out there and just recreate Okada/Omega spot for spot, but throw in one extra DIVE just to really throw Uncle Dave off. Hey Edge has Omega's goofy expressions down, Okada STOLE every Orton move in the book except the best one, they should be able to do it. OK, so we need something to spice Raw up, so what's going to happen is Randy goes over, defeats Drew McIntyre for the title. Drops it to Edge and Edge gets one last major run with the title before dropping it to Brock in that one 2004-05 dream return match we never got. Brock wins the title, goes to Winchester and we all wait for this to blow over.

10 points to me if I get that right please.

Can Jeff be WWE Champion in 2020? Sure, Bruce seems to like him and hey Jeff still has some great matches. All of you slept on that crazy HiaC match and I liked how adventurous he was against Nakamura who is so confusing, he even confuses himself sometimes. I like Shamo, but his interests involve washing his hair and organising his mineral collection. Jeff is a Tim Burton character come to life and the SmackDown roster is so brittle they need all the stars they can get. Story of the match is Sheamus beats him down, like all of Jeff's struggles beat him down. Like sharing a locker room with HHH, learning how to fall off a 20 foot ladder and fans not understanding the brilliance of Willow. However, just as Sheamus has him beat, Jeff does what he always does, ducks the kick hits a jawbreaker, does his hand signal, dropkicks his nuts, signals for a Twist of Fate hits it, takes his shirt off and goes up top for a SWANTON BOMB or as JR calls it the Will O Wisp. ** and somehow some meandering Penelope Ford match from Dynamite will be better.

(I don't know if this is true or not, but BJ survived Corona so I've got faith)

My viewing of WWE has stopped since lockdown and the lack of fans. Just can't enjoy the product.

I used to go into detail all the time until I realised I wasn't channelling HHH. I don't know who I was channelling, but it was causing me to lose to pi and I was having none of that. I believe we stand 1-1, it all comes down to this year. I gave you the first fall, but I'm gunning for the next two like the reigning greatest match of all-time.

I don't post enough in the WWE threads, largely because I can't be active during the parties and I don't want to be that one guy who rocks up late while the host is trying to wrap things up.
