I caught II at the end of his career. He was the master of the knee lift. II and TA has to be one of the best teacher student angle of all time. Their feud with the Midnight Express is one of my first memories of wrestling.
Match 1 - If you listen to Cornette or Prichard's podcast this is the match that nearly caused a riot
Match 2 - the rematch
Match 3 - from my first live wrestling show TA & II vs Midnight Express with Cornette loser gets a lash

My parents use to be wrestling fans once upon a a time went to a live wrestling event in Columbus Georgia and my parents saw Mr. Wrestling II front of them when they are outside heading in the arena. They take a picture show it to me still got the picture somewhere in the house pretty cool to say the least.
RIP

I only saw II during his aforementioned team/feud with Magnum TA in Mid South. I couldn't stand him as a face. He did this silly dance and looked like he wrestled in a diaper. The kneelift was pretty much his only real move from what I remember. Crowds loved him though.
Heel II was pretty great though. He was basically a Mr. Bob Backlund style grumpy old man a full decade before Mr. Backlund did the gimmick.
RIP Mr. Wrestling II
