ENOUGH IS ENOUGH: Looks like the Outlaw of Pro Wrestling has reached the end of their run with Taker possibly "retiring". We all know what that means. Shoulda been years ago? After the streak? After Roman's match gave him the perfect send-off? Whatever it's wrestling and there's no way he isn't gonna have "one more" at a Mania with people. But no more embarrassing matches in Saudi probably. All depends on how expensive McCool's tastes are I suppose. Also wrestling's #metoo is still a thing. It's an uncomfortable conversation as we are forced to answer the age old question... does no really mean no?

SO IT BEGINS: Fan Fic Draft is getting to the bad part... the stealing. Yes even though everyone is up for grabs and I likely took someone you wanted... you cannot take my guys (or girls!). I mean, how many people start with A's? And can I really just draft nothing but Samoans in that Anoa'i cheat code? Picks are becoming rapid fire, but being at the bottom sucks after it starts going back up because it takes a bit to return. Get ready for hurt feelings and frustrated "damn you!" posts in the next few days.

DARK KNIGHT EXPRESS: Sports saw a new documentary featured in Pony Express, which I guess is a weird Panda Express competitor in the same vein as Buffalo Wings and Rings vs. Buffalo Wild Wings. Dark Knight wins for the decade as most predicted. Somehow the "best" LOTR didn't even make it despite everyone fully expecting it. Guess anything can happen in a countdown. I'm sure some votes went to the original in that Ross Perot split, but still this is crazy considering what all the LOTR nerds were going on about. Get your director list in (guessing Nolan does well all things considered) and start working on that top 100 beast. Let's put the MCU to shame with our collab!

So ironic that I was drafting heavyweight wrestlers as everyone goes for the “Indy darling” style guys so I thought I had no dramas with people stealing my pics and vice versa only for Baker to have the exact same heavyweight idea even down to the name.

Shit, faked me out... Made me think for a split second that Charles Wright was retiring. I'm OK with Taker's quiet quarantine retirement. Does it bother anyone else that TV channels no longer really respect what their core identities used to be? Like Jurassic Park on E makes no sense. E should be all Kardashian reality TV, Hollywood paparazzi scoops, and maybe airing Oscar bait movies. I dunno... Maybe that's a bad example.

I feel like we need closure from the LOTR nerds explaining why the supposed best one didn't make it. Just assumption and oversight? UT's counting of vague LOTR votes? My best guess is maybe the latter. But that I put on selfish LOTR nerds way more so than UT.

I'm still shocked by Gladiator as well. Overall, the 2000s list is so unexpectedly all over the board. I feel like it's a good taste test teaser for the Top 100.

Would love to hear PW News op ed piece on whether a buddy cop movie needs to inherently be a comedy. Or if both buddies have to be cops. I mean, that's the ONLY reason I'm excluding Die Hard with a Vengeance. Although, does Al from Family Matters count as John McClane's buddy to make the original count?

Confession Time: I fell behind on PW News for the 2nd straight week. Last time I got caught up. Don’t think it’s happening this time though. But I just listened to this particular episode and it was good!
