Tessa's gone. Talk about going from the penthouse to the outhouse in nearly record time. To piss off the office after they stood by her over the racism/harassment thing was epically stupid. She will be stuck working in Mexico for a while I'd guess.

So what's the deal, was she just trying to pull a Jarrett 1999? Given all the news lately I expected a speakingout issue, but the only article I saw (or clicked I'm lazy) just said contract issue with her not turning in her promo homework.

Yeah they asked her to send in promos and she said nope and that was it. Didn't seem like a team player move at all. I think she will be in WWE by next yr and get that feud w Charlotte by WM time.

She had one foot out the door w her maybe seeking out employment elsewhere, she must think the WWE has interest in her. Impact and Blanchard have had back and forth discussion on the matter and its never been a clean relationship.

I'm assuming that the final straw was that she wasn't going to show up to Slammiversary.
You can never say never in wrestling, obviously, but if WWE were shying away from her before then I can hardly see themselves falling over themselves to sign her after what's happened recently.

Meh Vince will make the call and he would have had Hulk Hogan at WM if there wasn't any covid-19. He does business with Saudi princes, he can do business with Blanchard especially if Rousey isn't back. Charlotte i think wants the feud too.

I think this unprofessionalism will be seen as a bigger strike against her than the racism. We're led to believe she pissed off Triple H and Stephanie at the MYC by complaining about losing, and since then she's proven them right by shoot fighting with Deonna during an indy match, and now walking out on a company that gave her literally the strongest push possible, whilst having a number of staff damage their reputations by backing her publically over her personal conduct. She might have a famous wrestling name, but she's not a Hogan or Rousey level star to counteract that.

She might have a famous wrestling name, but she's not a Hogan or Rousey level star to counteract that. She left the MYC in a bad spot but she was also pretty young much like her racist takes that got uncovered. She might have matured enough to play nice in the WWE if she's being paid well for it. Now telling Tessa or Charlotte who takes the pinfall is a whole can of worms as they're both as in for themselves as they can get . The WWE gave one of the most notorious scumbags of the 21st century, Alberto Del Rio a 2nd chance despite his notorious record in Mexico, no showing TNA and Indy shows and that whole coke spilled fiasco with his brother. He was even welcomed backstage recently despite cursing out HHH and threatening to file an HR lawsuit over the fight with a WWE employee. It took his domestic abuse with Paige and the recent garbage he pulled by threating to drop his ex GF's boy in a desert dead for WWE to finally realize he isn't worth the hassle. I think with Becky Lynch all but ruled out for next WM and Rousey being lukewarm to step in the ring again, Vince probably needs to pull an ace out of his ass with a face challenger given he has next to no belief in any of the current women employed besides Asuka, Bayley and Sasha. I'm also in for Tessa vs Chelsea Greene on RAW and the shoot fighting that will take place  It'll take one hard kick by Blanchard and Greene will probably have none of that.

What I am seeing is the Stardom shit was pushing them to remove the title from her, and Tessa wanted no part of it. Refused to drop the title, refused to do promos that would lead to a feud for her drop the title and refused to do anything she did not want to.
Tessa is done. Her attitude was an issue going into this TNA run and she just proved all of her haters right.

She could recover from the racism stuff but the series of people she pissed off with her attitude seems to make her nearly untouchable. Moreso when it spams years now and does not seem to ever change.

As for Vince needing a face, he has roster of people to hot shot to WM if he needs to. Worst comes to worst, if he NEEDS a match done he can hot shot Mercedes. Fast three month build and they can have her as the hottest thing in wrestling for a single show. She is good enough to work whoever into a great match.
Would have also had Bianca if they did not decide to ruin her.

What are you talking about? Vince is absolutely not putting Mercedes Martinez in a Wrestlemania match. I would be shocked if she ever even sees the main roster.
Also Bianca is not getting used as much as we would hope, but she's obviously not ruined. She is in a much more realistic position to be built up to face Charlotte or Asuka at some stage.

Vince will look the other way if you're a proven draw, but if you're being unprofessional in a company that barely draws 100,000 viewers (if that) he isn't going to put you up against Charlotte at Wrestlemania. I would love to see that match, but it isn't going to happen.
I don't think it's the end of her and I could easily see her re-establishing herself in NWA Powerr, ROH or MLW if they come back. It's a shame because she would have been a great fit for AEW who have yet to really replace Kylie Rae or Awesome Kong in their division. With Baker and Statlander on the sidelines, a Shida/Blanchard feud could have propelled the entire division.

Bianca should be at WM this year, but it seems creative has nothing for her... During this time period when people are screaming for black stars...

I honesty have not missed Tessa not being on Impact tv the past few month. Others have been stepping up and putting on a great show. With the buzz of the new talent that may becoming in Tessa has become a after thought.

Rousey stiffed Bliss, and 1-2 others in her time and the women's locker room/Nia Jax pointed that out that Ronda was going in it for herself. Rousey is a far bigger name yes but she isn't better in the ring than Blanchard IMO. ROH is a mess with the Scurll news but maybe MLW. Her dad works for AEW and would probably have to babysit her but I also know Khan would not want that in the locker room after his virtue signal on the Hogans over on twitter.

It didn't work for Ripley and you saw Baszler absolutely get left out to pasture since arriving on the main roster. Maybe Adam Cole is the only NXT player that Vince sees and likes with Riddle on SD now, and maybe because Cole is small. I think Toni Storm has 'it' but does management think that way? Nah.

Tessa probably should go to AEW if she got offered both deals. Because if she really left because not liking a booking decision. Being fed to Charlotte or helping Charlotte win the tag title probably isnt what she wants.

Vince kept Lars Sullivan as long as he could and only let him go due to COVID-19 and Tessa is nowhere near as vile as Sullivan was or carry said baggage. We underestimate Vince McMahon here, someone tells him this is one of the four horsemen daughter and he sees two daughters of the faction going 1v1 at WM as a spectacular showcase. I don't think Fit was a fan of hers and he is either gone or furloughed so the climate has changed compared to when Tessa was in the MYC.

Lars is still in the company but he hasn't acted unprofessionally, he just had a panic attack and then suffered a serious injury. They uncovered some troll-ish posts but I can't recall him ever pulling anything like Tessa has.
I can't see the WWE signing too much talent in this current climate.

This is really a sad end, especially after Impact put such a massive push behind her. Basically sounds like she wanted out and was being uncooperative to secure her release. I know it's trendy to speculate that that she is going to AEW, but would Tony Khan really sign Tessa Blanchard after making such a huge show of virtue about racism when he banned Hulk and Linda Hogan?

They may look the other way because their women's division is easily the weakest part of the show. Most of them are green and not much star power there either now that Awesome Kong isn't around.

She's either going to WWE or AEW, if anywhere. Not sure which indie promotion would be willing to take a risk on her at this point. WWE to get buried, AEW to legitimize the most embarrassing division in all of major pro wrestling. I'd much rather see the former happen to Toilet Lid Tessa...

A new (fantastic) addition to the story. Impact apparently had to get a new version of their title made because Tessa was demanding $150k to return it.
