NBA will be fine but it's in a dire spot with how the agents and players run the league and with the owners and awful commish afraid to take the power back, it will continue to slide. When a player can throw a heckling fan out just because or when you have Ron Artest going into the stands to tackle a teen, you know you have serious issues and I see Adam Silver as someone living off of an obvious call in banning Sterling AKA an awful commish who does not prevoke parity in the league and allows the LeBron's etc. run the show.

King James is just too good. Dame will have his day, and I hope he sticks it out with Portland, but man. Lakers going to the finals after all, I think.

What do you mean no parody? The Raptors won the title last year, and they have a better than decent chance to do it again this year.

4-1 series win and we played better with each game - the first one was a gaffe but the rest were never really that close. The Bucks played impeccable yesterday.

Prior to that it was half a decade of rotation between the Warriors and Cavs in the finals. You do get the 2010 Mavericks or 2019 Raptors sure but there are only 5-6 real contenders or so every year that are the usual suspects. Bababababoring.

Luka gave it his all, but there was no way the Mavs were getting past the Clippers without KP being there as well.
George Paul was back in the building, but it didn't matter tonight.

Damn Jimmy!!!
A personal playoff best 40 points from Jimmy Butler couple with a quiet 18 from Giannis leads to a 1-0 Miami lead.
Despite the loss though I still like the Bucks chances. Middleton and Lopez actually stepped up big time when Giannis was doubled. I doubt Jimmy is going to give the Heat 40 every night, so if they can make the adjustments and slow him down they should be alright. Giannis has GOT to start hitting his free throws though, 4-12 is completely unacceptable.

Wtf was Westbrook doing out there? I know he's been carrying an injury but he was so sloppy with his passing. I think the Rockets would have won without him last night.
Game 7 in the first round is not what the Rockets want with Harden's history of slowing down in the play-offs.

Then on top of that Russ didn't rebound the ball either. Houston dosen't have a true big, so if Russ isn't crashing the boards he's a liability.

Raptors are done. Game 1 was a joke, then they had every opportunity to win this and they let Boston take it by 3 points.
Siakam looks lost and FVV and Lowry have been dogshit from the field. Wouldn't be surprise if Boston sweeps them.
I didn't expect them to repeat but they're better than this. This series should at least be close.

Like a lot of other things, I can see the walkout from both sides. On one hand, anyone else in their shoes would use their platform before, right now and in the future to make a statement that they believe in. Imagine if the tables were turned? "Free Kyle" shirts would indeed be everywhere on the court.
On the other hand, it's only added to the division. It's yet again spawned an adverse reaction from the right because they already see celebrity as disingenous and athletes in particular as overpaid talking heads. I don't know if it should be praised or condemned, but far be it from me to say one or the other.
I will say though that either way: LeBron James still remains an insufferable douchebag.

From a basketball standpoint though, Lebron MADE the Cavs. They weren't shit before he got there, and they haven't been shit since he left.

Kyrie was the big game performer in their title win, I know he catches flack for how hurt he gets and his outspoken views and how he left the Cavs but he wanted the moment over LeBron.

Hence me feeling it was relative to mention thus making it a joke... I'm appreciative of that title & him coming back. I swear, my humor flies over everyone's head on the internet.

With KP I think the Mavs win this series, especially with George Paul making his appearance for the Clips damn near every game. The Clips needed the refs riding their nuts just to win game 1. They also needed dirty plays against Luka. And with all that it still took them 6 games. I swear your filter of viewing everything through how a player performs for your team really blinds you to the overall picture.

Porzingis was the dirty one pushing Morris that really started everything, could not help himself as he is a selfish player and doesn't want "it". He can't help cheapshot people but when needed, proclaims he is hurt despite being paid big bucks. I have seen more of him than you have so I think I have a better grasp to know he isn't a winning player by himself. I'm not saying he isn't talented but he isn't the difference between a playoff series win or loss. Kawhi he isn't, heck Luka is MILES better than Porzingis.

What was Kyrie doing before Lebron came back? Sitting at homes during the playoffs. One big shot dosen't make you the franchise. LeBron cameback because of Kyrie and because he was promised they would get Kevin Love, nothing else. The hometown story coming back home is another fluff piece by his entourage. he would never come back if they didn't have anything worth a damn but the NBA office had to give Dan Gilbert the ammo to make them relevant for ratings.

Kawhi had his 2nd star, Luka did not. And with how poorly Paul George played for most of the series, Luka having KP by his side would have made a huge difference.
