Looks like the league took the writers pen from LeBron on that one.

That block by Bam and Jimmy 4th quarter performance helped the Heat win game one in ot that series is going to be great. Looks like Nuggets going to win the series go to the WCF wouldn’t surprise Doc Rivers resign or get fired. No doubt about it, this was a choke job of epic proportions. The Clips blew a 3-1 lead and blew huge leads in two of those games they dropped. Just completely unacceptable. Also Kawhi picked the wrong time to shit the bed. Coupled with the re-emergence of George Paul, the Clips didn't have a chance.

The Clippers are the golden dumpster fire that just keeps on giving... And by giving I mean choking.
I love The Claw but a part of me is giddy to see him epically fail after him leaving Toronto.
The bigger loser will be LAC though if they can't win a 'ship next year. Guarantee PG and Leonard jump ship and then the Clips are left holding their bags with a near decade of 1st round picks flushed down the toilet.

I honestly didn't care that Kawhi left Toronto at the time. He wanted to go home, it was always the plan, and he won us a Championship before he left. It was totally fine. But then news broke that during his talks of re-signing with Toronto, he made a point of saying that part of the reason he left is because he didn't think Toronto was good enough to repeat. From that moment on I wanted him to lose every game. He couldn't just go off into the LA sunset and leave a small legacy behind him in Canada. He had to say that. The Raptors took Boston to 7 games and probably would have beat them easily if Siakam didn't forget how to play basketball. If Kawhi is still on that team they're cruising to the finals right now. Fucking idiot teams up with Playoff PG and no one else and thinks he's going to win another title.

Doc Rivers is catching a lot of flack right now, but I don't know how much more he could have done when his 3 best players score a combined 31 points on 27% shooting. The Clips were getting open looks, they just couldn't buy a bucket.
Kawhi should have definitely stayed in Toronto, they were more his style of team. Nick Nurse is a Pop protege and runs a similar kind of system that Kawhi thrived under. Plus Lowery, Van Fleet, Ibaka, and the rest were the perfect supporting cast. They had grit and worked hard and didn't take anything for granted unlike the jackasses he was playing alongside on the Clippers. Even worse Kawhi had the Clips mortage their future for GEORGE PAUL...oops I'm sorry, Paul George, who had been a train wreck in the playoffs the last few seasons running. Don't know what he was thinking there

Well, the Lakers did it.
And something else of note. Kostas Antetokounpo won an NBA Title before Giannis did.

When two of the Heat’s three best players went down in game one I expected a lot of games to feel like Game Six, but Game Five was incredibly entertaining and I’m happy for Frank Vogel so not a terrible outcome for me with no team to root for.
