TINY TINY LITTLE MAN: Brezzy is the birthday boy. Tragically I think the last time we saw him was to report some very bad news, but he's a long-time former guy. How is it pronounced? Like Brie Mode? Or Brez like Prez-O-Dent? Talk of Adam Cole and how BAYBAY is a wrestling rib because he's the size of a literal baby. New Japan talk, kinda. I make up the reason it's called "new" and reminiscence about when it was the hotness pre-AEW.

You're right, @ness. The only reason I go on reddit is to get some of that NJPW discussion dopamine. PW doesn't deliver on that front. They only really care when Jericho has a match, and that won't be happening for a while, if ever.

Not sure about the naming of New Japan and All Japan. I believe they originated from the ashes of Rikidozan's company. His two prized disciples, Antonio Inoki and Giant Baba, went on to form New Japan Pro Wrestling and All Japan Pro Wrestling respectively which competed against one another. Pretty sure Strobe covered this in his long write-up of Antonio Inoki.

Ahhh... Makes sense Rikidozan would be the old legendary samurai behind Old Japan Pro Wrestling.

The formation of two competing "brands" (ugh cringe term) from the top pupils is such a Japan thing. Like I've never read much on Rikidozan, but I'm picturing a guy that dresses like Shredder from TMNT.
