Thought I'd start a thread to promote this because I think it's well worth a listen! Taylor makes a great host and I've really enjoyed the episodes with Madison and Sarah (still got Natalya's to listen to). They're not dropping huge shoot bombshells or anything but there have been a number of fun stories shared and it's particularly interesting to hear them talk about exactly what it's like being a woman in wrestling - particularly as Madison and Sarah trailblaze their way through their new backstage roles.
My favourite little nugget so far was Madison talking about Traci Brooks' influence on her. Apparently Traci played a role in Madison getting a chance in TNA to begin with (which I never knew), and she is now trying to replicate the maternal role that Traci played back in the halcyon days of the Knockouts with the current Impact locker room.

She really seems enthusiastic about making a comeback. I really hope she gets Roxxi/Nikki Roxx to do an episode.

Also @admin, listening to Madison's episode did you get the impression they were maybe talking about a certain two TBP members when referring to some of their Knockouts lockeroom being catty?

If you're looking for a pick-me-up I recommend listening to this week's episode with Kiera. I love her passion and enthusiasm and how she's so obviously a big fan - she even talked about writing fan fiction as a kid!
Pretty cool that it sounded like she played a pretty big role in Impact bringing in Tasha because they were friends and knew they had a lot of chemistry together.

Dipped out of this for a little while because she had a stretch of guests that I wasn't interested in, but I've listened to the Trish and Aliyah episodes in the past couple of days. Trish can really talk the hind leg off a donkey - I feel like she could easily come back and do a few more episodes. It was interesting to hear about the timing of her retirement and how it didn't really seem like she'd hit a wall and felt the need to stop, but just happened because of a variety of factors like her contract ending and there not being any particularly appealing feuds or opponents that she was inclined to stick around for.
I kinda wanted Taylor to ask Aliyah about whether she's frustrated about being stuck in NXT for as long as she has been without any sort of serious push, but I can see why they didn't/wouldn't talk about that. Probably the most interesting thing was her talking about the range of coaching they have at the PC now, not even just limited to the on screen stuff, but including mental health support and transitional services to help prepare them for life after wrestling. We give WWE a lot of stick (and rightfully so) but that's something commendable that I don't think they've tried to publicise or pat themselves of the back for, and shows how far they've come in the professional/pastoral area in just a few years.

Transition course is WILD.
Like that's something they make you do in the military.

Transition course is WILD. Like that's something they make you do in the military. Makes a lot of sense though, a lot of these people don't even go to college and have nothing else going for them so getting eased into society again is really cool. Same with mental health. I agree with @admin that it is cool WWE doesn't self promote this unlike Tony Khan and AEW.

Definitely came out of Shotzi's episode being a bigger fan of hers. I think I vaguely knew her backstory but boy she's been through some shit! I enjoyed her story about being at the PC as part of Tough Enough when Dusty passed and how she hoped she was doing him proud during the tag tournament. I think Dusty, who we know was a big supporter and advocate of unique talents who brought something different to the table, would have been a big fan of hers.
Similar to Aliyah she talked about how the services available at the PC have been a great help for her. It was interesting to hear about her say how much better she feels physically now compared to when she was wrestling on the indies, because of the trainers they have on hand.

She posted up on twitter that I think she was sexually assault either as a kid or later on in life, she seems to be at peace and seems to be doing her thing. Easy to root for, seems like a really good human being. She gets flack for her porn video and for selling her poop for a couple of bucks but I respect the grind she put herself through and the confidence she has as a person to not be phased by any of that to get to where she is today. I think her tearful reaction when HHH helped her get her gear back won me over for her, that was probably a year worth of savings for her. She went on that final Tough Enough season, got eliminated and kept at it. I think the common fan can see she's genuine and legit and I think she will go far in WWE.

This week's episode was a really good one - she'd been recording little diary clips all the way back from when she was initially supposed to return prior to the pandemic. It was interesting to get an insight into the sacrifices she's making to return to wrestling (leaving her son for the first time, $200 for a covid test each time she flies, having to take time off work and quarantine for two weeks each time she returns to Canada), her self doubts about whether she is out of place returning to the business at 35, and a bit of an insight of how things work at an Impact taping.
Sasha and Bianca might have put on a banger in the main event of Wrestlemania but this kinda feels like the most important thing in women's wrestling in 2021.

I've listened to the 1st 2 episodes. This podcast is wonderful. I'm going to enjoy this ride, man. As much as I enjoy the Diva Diaries stuff, THIS so fucking cool. Don't get me wrong. Diva Diaries is very informative but, Wilde On is more down-to-earth & raw. I haven't had this good of a time since I used to listen to the ring bells podcast. During my early years as a fan of women's wrestling. Taylor sounds so genuine & relatable. I wish I've met more ladies like her in my life. I've always enjoyed Wilde as a wrestler but, now I'm emotionally invested.
