Due to the atrocious two QB system setup with numerous teams on Bye I basically conceded this week with Flacco hurt and Winston benched. However Yahoo says I won vs tinybignuts...... How? That has to be a glitch. No way that is the case.

I know it's not the Gallo league, but I miraculously won last night thanks to a 60-point performance by Brandin Cooks, Rams D/ST and a late-waiver pick-up, Josh Reynolds. Was down 40 heading into the game.

Boom.

Yahoo was having glitches this morning with the Rams/Chiefs game. I think it’s all fixed now.

Crazy though that 2nd to 7th is all 6-5 and I’m right there in 8th at 5-6. The playoff spots are all wide open, except maybe Steamers who is alone at 8-3.

And some teams are just built to have 3 starters so on Bye weeks that a lot of teams have you naturally aren't going to have all QBs play. I took Hill of NO off the streets for this factor since the free agent market didn't even have a shit starter ala Rosen who I also started.

It's Not a position like RB or WR that the 2nd string can vulture a TD or something. One QB plays per team barring injury or lousy play and that can never ever be called.

The 2 QB rule was suspect and I should have come back to PW sooner to veto the idea. You can speak condescending to me all you want Foos it's a terrible idea.

The bye weeks prove why it's a bad idea. The bottom echelon QBs have to be played which is pretty bad in itself.

Should we have two defenses at this rate?

It definitely feels like this is the most wide open the league has ever been. Normally there's a couple of teams off the top and a couple of strugglers but this season anyone could beat anyone.

The fact that only 4 teams can make it makes it really interesting. Very little margin of error.

I’ve been in the top 3-4 point scorers most of the season but bad schedule luck had me 0-3 and then 2-5. But now I’ve rode a four game win streak into playoff contention. 😎

The fact that Blindy might miss the playoffs with his RB hoarding he did makes me laugh and I like Blindy. I just don’t think he played it right hoarding all those RBs. You should’ve been flipping bro. Can’t keep them all.

Relax there. Listen to Mr. A-A-RON Rodgers. Not sure I understand the outburst. Joe Flaccid got hurt? You should've picked up Lamar Jackson before mikec did. This bye week didn't just affect you. It literally affected everyone. Everyone else had to draft, and plan accordingly for it. You could've easily traded earlier in the season from your area of strength and acquired a top QB. I mean, you drafted well for it, but bailed on Carr and Eli earlier on in the season. You should've have planned better, earlier. Hell, I would've traded with you. QB is my only area of strength with Luck, Watson, and Trubisky. 

I said this before, but playing in a 10 team league and only starting 1 QB is lame. What kind of challenge is that? Did you want it to be easy? The QB position is completely devalued in that format. At least this way, there's an added layer. Too bad you don't like it. Don't bring in straw-man arguments with starting two defenses. You really should have gone with two kickers if you want to throw out suggestions. If it was up to me, we'd ditch DST and actually step it up with IDP. 

You want an easy solution to your little problem? Make one of the QB slots flex as a QB/RB/WR. Then you can start up to 4 RBs in one week! It would alleviate any of your concerns. And make KING KID go insane by seeing you start Saquon, Melvin, Run CMC, and Kamara every week.

Bro we have been through this many times. If one of my boys go down, I have to have a backup plan. Honestly, McCaffrey SHOULD be given WR rights like Woodhead was back in the day given he's a glorified WR who does more damage catching the ball than running but I don't make the rules. I had 1st pick, I HAD TO take Barkley brother. And no way I don't keep Gordon or Kamara or McCafrrey.

I traded away Chubb to Locuro for what was SUPPOSED to be a big upgrade at QB with Winston but his dumbass coach refuses to stand by him and instead would rather see a journeyman 35 year old QB play instead of seeing if Winston is the answer long term for the franchise or not. That ain't on me, Koetter is a fucking knob who should have been fired already. I should smack the shit out of him for going back to that jabroni Fitztragic. Allison is soft as tissue and got hurt. Locuro was the only one offering up anything when I made Chubb available. :dunno:

Carr and Eli have been trash this year especially when Cooper got traded to Dallas. Eli's OLine was a joke and he got sacked at a ridiculous pace. 

My mistake is not keeping Goff and going for Chris Hogan that's on me. I didn't know we went 2 QB until very late but I thought Hogan would be better than what he has been especially when Edelman was suspended. Cooks or Goff would have been better but I felt LAR would be run first run second and then throw here or there. If I keep Goff, I run it all IMHO. 

Waivers prevented me to get Lamar Jackson, I was 2nd heading into the week where Flacco randomly had the injury. Sucks but that's what happens. I would have loved to have traded a Chubb for what you had for QB but no trade proposal foos  

I think the BYE weeks throw a monkey wrench in 2 QB format IMHO but we'll agree to disagree. If say only 4 teams were on BYE week by week, I totally get it. 

I'm not sensitive, I am passionate about the league and have been here from the start :dunno: I was pissed last year having 3rd most points and missing out on playoffs because I had the most points allowed and it was trending that way early this season too and vented in this thread. 

Folks I know. My shit. I told y'all one of my backs was getting dinged up and it happened to Melvin Gordon. I got peer pressured and I gave up Chubb but I got Winston at least but I held strong and I am glad I did.

Just lost in the first round of my money league, and didn't even make the playoffs in my third league despite having the highest points for.

Not exactly a fan of my season riding on a kicker, but at least it's Zuerlein.

Neither one of you guys got to 2000 plus points scored against like I have this year. Back to back years leading pts against. Sammy might have an injury problem at RB with both Lamar Miller and Shady McCoy barely playing last week, while Locuro has to decide whether to stick it out with Marcus Mariota after he's returned single digit scores in his last two games.

Philip Lindsay needs to get 12.9 points tomorrow to give Locuro agronomy Flakes the championship.
