You could switch the Cowboys and Titans for me and I’d feel like it was closer. I don’t think Mike McCarthy makes them that much better. Dallas always look/seem good in August. I can’t see an team that missed the playoffs and had no significant wins last season in the top 5.

He's not even listing the 49ers because they are such a shit franchise and don't deserve any recognition. I happen to know for a FACT that @admin thinks San Francisco should be abolished from the league and therefore never acknowledges them in public. So go suck an egg with Jimmy G.

3. New Orleans Saints
I think the Saints have the most complete roster in the league. It feels strange to say it but I now think Drew Brees is one of the biggest question marks regarding the team as we have now seen a pretty obvious regression in his arm strength. New Orleans have only been eliminated on super fine margins the last couple of seasons, but and while Brees remains a super reliable short game QB, his ability to hit the big throws definitely factors into the equation - last season he trailed Andy Dalton, Jacoby Brissett and Sam Darnold for accuracy on deep throws. Brees' efficient game is exemplified by his connection with super star WR Michael Thomas whose catch percentage and wide open target rate are simply off the charts. The Saints acquired a similar profile player in veteran Emmanuel Sanders to give them a #2 option that has been missing the previous couple of seasons. Touchdown machine TreQuan Smith and returner Deonte Harris provide the speed, while perennial offseason hype candidate Jared Cook is a reliable top-10 tight end. Current contract discord apart, I think everyone was expecting a bounce back season from Alvin Kamara after he was limited by injury last season. Kamara is as dynamic and versatile as anyone in the league, so if he can get back to his best the Saints will be so difficult to stop. The offence will always have a high ceiling playing behind a top notch offensive line. This group returns four starters, including two of the very best tackles in the league in Terron Armstead and Ryan Ramczyk. Erik McCoy had an excellent rookie season at center, and the Saints will be hoping for the same from this year's first round pick Cesar Ruiz.
Even after failing to lure Jadeveon Clowney down to NOLA, the Saints are well positioned on the defensive line. Cameron Jordan is a fantastic defensive end who probably doesn't get the acknowledgement that he deserves, with his play being right up there with the Mack's and Miller's of the world over the past few seasons. Without Clowney, the Saints will be hoping to see Marcus Davenport continue to improve in his third season. If he can take a similar step forward than he did during his sophomore campaign, this will be one of the best pass rushing duos around. Sheldon Rankins is a good player inside who was limited by injury last season, while the Saints acquired one of my personal favourite players since his time at SMU, while former Patriot Malcom Brown was an astute FA pickup last offseason. Late career bloomer Demario Davis leads the linebacker group that could use MLB Alex Anzalone staying healthy. Rookie Zach Baun will complete the starting trio and should provide increased coverage ability over Kiko Alonso. The secondary has gone from being the team's long term Achilles heel to one of it's true strengths, with an incredibly deep group of players on the back end. Marshon Lattimore and Janoris Jenkins are quality outside corners, while Marcus Williams will team up with returning veteran Malcolm Jenkins at safety, plus my man Ceedy Duce playing out of the slot. PJ Williams and DJ Swearinger are amongst the backups - this is a secondary with some real depth.
There really isn't an area of weakness at any position group, and they've got fantastic depth in most areas: Jameis Winston (who I'm predicting we'll see in some sort of relevant action) for Brees, Latavius Murray for Kamara, Josh Hill for Cook, and one of the deepest secondary groups in the league. And I haven't even mentioned Swiss Army Knife™ Taysom Hill! The Saints obviously have a tough division, the two games against the Bucs will be priority viewing, plus they've the Packers, Chiefs and a rematch of 2019's game of the season with the 49ers - but these are obviously big time contenders. The only real question is whether they can get over the hump that's resulted in some heartbreaking playoff losses in recent years.

2. San Francisco 49ers
I'll start with my two doubts - the Super Bowl hangover can't be ignored as NFC teams losing in the Super Bowl have definitely struggled the following season, and it's much harder to maintain dominance on defence season to season than it is offence. It's unlikely that the 49ers can repeat as an elite pass defence, and that means that Jimmy Garoppolo is going to have to play better. I'm sceptical of his ability to break into the top-10 quarterback range as while he's a reliably accurate passer, I don't really see the big time throw ability that separates the best starters from the pack. Jimmy G struggled when under pressure (and especially, crucially, in the Super Bowl) so the performance of the offensive line is important. Trent Williams has been getting rave reviews during training camp which bodes well for his ability to replace Joe Staley, but the interior line looks more doubtful. Weston Richburg is starting the season on the PUP list and Ben Garland has an ankle injury, so Daniel Bruskill and Tom Compton will likely begin the season as starters inside.
I have previously posted about my concerns with the receiving corps. Losing Emmanuel Sanders with no replacement is going to be a big deal, Sanders really helped kick the whole offence into gear when he was acquired during last season. The good news is that I would trust Kyle Shanahan more than anyone to be able to maximise what would look like a real problem for any other coach, he's that good at scheming his receivers open. Having Deebo Samuel active is obviously going to be very important, but the 49ers would want to be careful with him, as their depth at receiver is so thin. Brandon Aiyuk is also less than 100% to start the season, so we might be seeing quite a bit of Kendrick Bourne and Richie James to start the season. That likely means a boatload of targets for all-world TE George Kittle who has rightfully become regarded as one of the absolute best players in the entire league. Jordan Reed is also an interesting addition, hardly ever healthy, but someone who always has the potential for production when he can get out on the field.
On defence Nick Bosa had an absolutely phenomenal season, instantly ascending to one of the best pass rushers in the league. The defensive line is pretty stacked with Arik Armstead and Dee Ford both very adept pressure creators in their own right, while DeForest Buckner is replaced by first round rookie Javon Kinlaw. The 49ers have a pair of great linebackers with Kwon Alexander and Fred Warner, but the latter is the only name brand player on the COVID list with the season about to approach. Dre Greenlaw really emerged as another good coverage player during last season. The front seven still looks really strong, but cornerback is the position that I have concerns about replicating last season's performance. Richard Sherman had an absolutely fantastic year, allowing an absurdly low 227 yards during the regular season, but expecting him to do that again is unlikely. The #2 position was an issue last season and remains so. Inside they are set with Jimmie Ward and Jaquiski Tartt at safety and K'Waun Williams as the slot corner.
Looking through the roster I think there are a few areas of concern, but if the rookies Aiyuk and Kinlaw can replace Sanders and Buckner that will certainly help. There's potential for Garoppolo to increase his own playmaking ability as a result of being more comfortable with the health of his knee, and he may need to be braver in the pocket with the issues with the interior protection. Regardless, there's a lot of top end talent on both sides of the ball, plus a genuine difference making offensive playcaller - this is still the majority of the core that absolutely whacked conference rivals the Vikings and Packers in the playoffs, and that type of dominance shouldn't disappear overnight.

1. Kansas City Chiefs
Defending a championship and creating a dynasty in the NFL is very difficult. A decade ago people would have been shocked that Aaron Rodgers wouldn't have won a second Super Bowl by 2020. But it's hard to see the same fate befalling the newest appointee to the GOAT label, the simply spectacular Patrick Mahomes who is in the perfect situation with Andy Reid as his head coach. Mahomes wasn't as lights out during the regular season as he was in his first year as a starter, partially due to the knee injury he suffered, but he has an unparalleled ability to simply take over a game with his playmaking ability and showed with numerous comebacks in the playoffs that no deficit is too much for him to overcome when he gets hot.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire is the big addition to the offence already stacked with playmakers, and figures to get a big workload with last year's starter Damien Williams opting out of the season. CEH is a strong tackle breaking runner despite his stature, as well as being a good receiver out of the backfield which should return an extra layer to the offence that was lost when Kareem Hunt was cut. The depth behind him is a little bit thin with just Darrel Williams and Darwin Thompson largely bit part players, and the interest in Adrian Peterson before he signed with the Lions suggests they may add a veteran to this group at some stage. Tyreek Hill leads a dynamic receiver group as one of the most influential players in the league, his unmatched speed is a nightmare for any defence and the perfect complement for Mahomes' passing style. Mecole Hardman is another speed demon with big play ability, while Sammy Watkins is a solid #2 who can pop off on any particular week even if he never developed into the player he was seen as coming out of college. Travis Kelce is an elite tight end who flourishes as the other major receiving option from Hill and can be relied upon to deliver a fifth straight 1000 yard season. The offensive line is a solid unit, if only consisting of one absolutely top tier starter in Mitchell Schwartz at right tackle. Schwartz's brilliant post season allowing only one pressure was well documented. Kelechi Osemele will replace the second major opt-out Laurent Duvernay-Tardif MD after his turbulent time with the Jets.
The Chiefs defence took some significant strides forward in 2019 from what was previously one of the leagues poorer units, to one that makes just enough plays to stop things from getting insurmountable for the explosive offence. Defensive tackle Chris Jones is their best player, another candidate for the best interior defender in the league behind Aaron Donald, and a guy who came up big in the Super Bowl. Frank Clark is a decent pass rusher but probably didn't live up to his contract in his first season, so they'll be looking for him to contribute more with some mediocre options behind him following Terrell Suggs & Emmanuel Ogbah's departures. Linebacker is the real weakness, but Willie Gay could improve the situation as he was a highly rated coverage player in college. Steve Spagnuolo covered this up last season by using three and sometimes four safeties on the field at once, Tyrann Mathieu and Daniel Sorenson are versatile defenders, while Juan Thornhill had a fantastic rookie season before tearing his ACL before the playoffs. Spags might have to be creative to start the season as his top corner Bashaud Breeland is suspended for the first four games, leaving Charvarius Ward and Rashad Fenton as the starters with a couple of late round rookies behind them.
The Raiders and Broncos look to present a stronger test this season, I'd be surprised if the Chiefs sweep the division series again this season. Additionally playing against the NFC South might make securing the #1 seed difficult, but KC return almost all their starters who proved that they have the firepower to overcome any situation, or simply outright wax opponents - and they'll do that to plenty of teams again this season.

Everything is on point but a few things which haven’t mention start with the offense… Jerick Mckinnon will finally play this season for the 49ers. Obvious he won’t get lot of carries it’s mostly going and should be Mostert to get majority of the carries but I bet it would be the same as last season both he and Coleman will probably do the most of the carries while I think and Raj touch on this on my podcast that Mckinnon probably use as a receiving end on the backfield. Of course he may get some carries to keep the defense honest but use him majority as a receiver with his speed that will be nice for the offense. Trent Taylor who was out last season due to the injury he is healthy and having a good camp. Probably use him as a slot and remember when Niners first traded Jimmy G he and Trent Taylor have a great chemistry if Trent can stay healthy and that chemistry where it left off it’s would be a nice addition to the offense. The WR is the least I’m concern at the moment what I am more concerned is the interior O’Line as you have already mentioned. The RG and especially the center position which I think the Niners need to address next off-season. As for defense I do have a little concern at the secondary with Richard Sherman enter his last year if his contract and his age he was good last season but this season is unknown due to his age. But one of the things you forgot to mention is Emmanuel Moseley who takeover Whiterspoon early last season when he went down with an injury and he played well he take over when Whiterspoon got beat in the divisional playoffs against the Vikings when I believe it was Diggs score a TD and Mosley played well so there is a chance that Moseley start at the other side at CB which he should start. Jason Verrett have a good camp before he got injured again(hamstring.) if he can stay healthy it will be a nice depth for CB. The most I am concern the most this season on defense is the lack of the pass rush off the edge got Ford and Bosa. Blair is still recovery from a torn acl he have last sews9n even though Lynch did stated he is close but not there yet though. Other then that on point…

11. Dallas Cowboys
I haven't talked about the special teams for many (if any) teams, but it's worth noting for the Cowboys who have had one of the worst ST units in the league in recent seasons should see a significant improvement now with coaching guru John Fassel pinched from the Rams, and a new kicker in Greg "The Leg" Zuerlein who Bones brought over with him.
Can't help but quote this one today!

Jacksonville seems like the #32 to me. - Lame duck head coach in Marrone who has a legit shot of being fired by October if the wheels fully fall off, players have alienated him and he carries the Coughlin stench that has him there just because. - Gardner Minshew has a full tape now that scouts and pick apart and if he does not take the next step up, they are in deep trouble. Their backup is Dobbs I think still? - No more Calais Campbell, Jalen Ramsey long gone, Yannick N. sounds like he refuses to play for them. So it's Josh Allen, Myles Jack and who else on defense? They took a CB in Henderson who had some red flags but if he doesn't workout from the get go, they're gonna be thrown on early and often. - DJ Chalk is their best target............Dede Westbrook is good but who are they throwing to? Laviska Shenault who has so many medical issues but when on the field is electric? - If the team is down big, Leonard Fournette becomes essentially useless and he has 1 foot out the door with his 5th year option declined. And their O-Line is pretty mediocre too. This team is a walking 3-13 team IMHO. Set up beautifully for Lawrence to step on in. They can recruit whoever at HC with Lawrence as the selling point, can be Bienemy or whoever. Maybe Josh McDaniels if the ship does sink in NE or if he isn't given the verbal that he takes over Belichick in NE. The saving grace for the Jaguars is no London games in this pandemic, this team would shoot themselves in the foot out of sheer Khan foolishness to travel all the way to London for 2 games a year(I think now?) so the mileage will be limited for the very first time in years for this side. This is set up beautifully for Randy Orton or whoever to bash on "Jacksonville Dixie" sometime this fall or winter. They'll have Trevor Lawrence vs Cody for the TV Title by next May.

I knew the Jags would suck this year but man I thought they'd find a way for 3 wins this year. Absolutely god awful team. The way they have lost outside of the Vikings OT game lately is pitiful, credit Marrone to hang onto this job to the very end.
