Sounds like FTR and The North want to make it happen. Impact's Scott D'Amore seems to be all in on the idea.
whats your thoughts? yes, no, good, bad, whatever
Honestly I'd much rather see FTR vs The North than the Bucks.

There's a lot to be gained here, for both organisations.
Both suffer from a relatively shallow talent pools - AEW have already exhausted every combination of Mox v Jericho v Omega. While it says a lot if Eddie Edwards is your World Champion.
The North v FTR. Young Bucks v Motor City Machine Guns was always good. I'd expect a cracker from MCMG v Omega/Hangman. Good Brothers/BCOG v a combination of The Elite.
EC3 v MJF in a battle of obnoxiousness, RVD v Y2J - you'd really have to over-book this match to hide how terrible both are in 2020, lots of Inner Circle interference, cue Dreamer and Rhino to pop the ECW die-hards.
I'd also be happy to see Sami botch a baseball shot to Cody Rhodes. Save him the hassle of needlessly blading.
It all depends on who gets to promote it, if it airs on Dynamite - Impact gains nothing from the deal. It's a sneaky way to pick up some great talent on someone else's dime.

No reason these smaller orgs should be in competition with each other.

Please God no. Aew does not need to tarnish their reputation by pairing up with tna.

If they were going to do any kind of collab, AEW should try to get some from their Women's division. Impact probably has one of the best women's divisions out there, ATM. Also, nazzer if you haven't watched Impact recently, it's been very good for awhile now. Not like competing with WWE level or anything, but they've found their lane and are creating a really entertaining watchable product.

Yeah their show is ok to watch, but there's a world of difference between recording your shows at Sam's place and being seen by 10,000 people a week and being in arenas and having 700,000 people see you. Bug league looks worse whrnbut associates with minor league.

People are aware of Impact wrestling aka LOLTNA, its more a matter of bringing fans back. I'm of a belief Impact should do what AEW refuses to do and cross promote with NJPW. The Good Brothers could be the ones to bridge that divide. I wonder how many American talents are state side right now due to covid doing very little, GOD? Owens? I'm sure there's a bunch of guys living in the US not working. Of course there's a whole bunch of ROH talent doing nothing.

Nath, I think you took the focus being the opposite what I meant.
Yes, you are correct it would be great for tna if they worked with aew.
I was looking at it from an aew perspective. No thanks.
But, I guess if they wanted to let hikaru shida beat a different woman from tna every week for three months, in exchange for whoever the TNA world champ is getting a win over scorpio sky. Sure.

Impact have really rebuilt their standing over the past few years, both by putting out a consistent quality product, but also by reintergrating themselves into the indies. They've been doing collab shows for a while now with promotions like Booker T's in Texas, River City Wrestling and OVW.
AEW could definitely learn a thing or two from Impact. We've discussed how much better the IW women's division is at length in the WoW forum. Deonna made the smartest choice ever signing with them instead of going where most expected.
Nath already mentioned it but the crossover tag matches with MCMG and The North would be cool too.

Every company under the sun that isn't the WWE should be collaborating and putting on the best possible shows they can.
Your options are "compete for 2nd place" or "tie for 2nd place." It's not difficult.

It's not difficult. As much as I dislike AEW, I have a tonne of respect for what they achieved with All In. An independent supershow. Why it can't happen again is beyond me? You call it 'AEW vs The World' if you don't want to lower yourself and call it a joint venture.

Impact wrestlers would benefit from being on a station where people could actually see them and a company that actually know how to promote their company. I don't see how it would help AEW. Despite me feeling Impact is a better show now, AEW has the numbers so they probably won't think they can learn a thing from Impact. But if they were open to new ideas they could learn booking, wrestling show layout, and character work.
