Had no idea Kamala's real name was James Harris, so he's James "Kamala" Harris. That unfortunate truth aside, The Ugandan Giant was pretty fucking awesome, unfortunate gimmick makes rewatching his stuff a little cringe, but he was consistently one of Hogan's best opponents, and a much better worker than he had to be.

A true legend. First saw him in World Class and read a bout him in the magazines. His mid 85 Mid-South run is what I remember most. His feud with Duggan was awesome

Kamala had one of the strongest first impressions with the look and gimmick, both striking and kind of frightening to kid me. He worked extremely well as the untamed savage and his Air Africa finisher was death. The only thing cringe for me was his 1992 face turn and how he is a prime example of the big companies not taking care of wrestlers after retirement.

Damn. I've put Kamala over a bunch of times so I won't do an in depth obituary now. He was the most monstrous of all the monster heels when I first got into wrestling. His big splash was THE killer move back in the day.
RIP big man.
