So this rich kid Tony Kahn Is a big wrestling nerd and heās booking his own fed? TK had an account over on the old Death Valley Driver forums with the handle Coach TK. His most well known contribution was asking for the smuttiest backstage stories. I'd say AEW is more fan service than fan fiction. The show is constantly relying on member berries and it's this weird combination of WCW, ECW, WWE blended together to appeal to Observer subscribers. Imagine if 2010s ROH got a budget - that's the show.

Had a weird dream last night.
It was like some Jason Vorhees shit , but instead of being chased down and being murdered, it was SCSA chasing me , and wanting to hit a stunner.
Everytime I heard glass shatter, he was there and just started to run towards me, with so much anger, had no idea what the fuck I had done.
Weird fucking dream.

Feeling much better guys. Thanks for your concern. Iām about to enter my last semester of college and the pressure is just getting me. I figured Iād be able to see light at the end of the tunnel by now but itās just not there yet. Iām doing well with it so far. I have a 3.95 GPA and it would be perfect had it not been for micro and macro economics. Just some struggles financially as we went through all of our savings this year with dental and medical work. I also took a demotion at work so I could spend more time on classes. I didnāt lose a lot of pay but it was enough to not replenish our savings. Anyways. Iām back for now and missed you guys. Even Ness Glad you're doing okay Jeff. I saw the earlier post and pinged a quick message via Facebook. Hope all is well mate. Hey all. Longtime, as always. I'm heading across the pond to New York this September, my first holiday ever to the States. I have no idea how many, if anyone, on here is a New York native, but if you are, absolutely hit me up. Me and my fiance' are basically doing our last holiday abroad before finally getting married next year (after postponing twice due to COVID), and then settling down to start a family. Our hotel is in Times Square (aptly named The New Yorker), where we'll be for 14 days. Have trips to Philly, Atlantic City, Boston, Connecticut and Niagara Falls planned, as well as seeing the Knicks, Giants and Yankees play - plus the usual sightseeing stuff, Statue of Liberty, 9/11 Memorial, Empire State Building, a show on Broadway etc. We're going to be settling on dates this week and booking it by mid-January. Going to cost a pretty penny but we've got a good chunk of savings, so we figured why not? Also, am a home-owner now - sale completed after NINE MONTHS of waiting in March 2021. Not a forever home by any stretch, but we've put our stamp on it so far, and we're on the property ladder, which is the main thing. Hope everyone is keeping well. Sidenote, I've posted a new fed, let's see how long it lasts. If I make it to the first show, it'll be the first time I've done so on these boards if memory serves me correctly. Time will tell!

WP Iām obviously not a New Yorker but went as a tourist so a few tips for you Had a wonderful time otherwise so hopefully I donāt make it seem like a negative experience. - there is little if any public toilets around, so youāll have to go a store and buy something to gain access or utilise them when youāre visiting a famous landmark (IE Madison Square Garden have them when you go on tour). - Maybe you have a bigger appetite than me but the portion sizes are as ridiculous as they sound. So donāt bother with starters as your main course will be huge. Also entrĆ©e means main course in the US not the start (despite it meaning entrance š) - if someone approaches you for conversation, 99.9% chance itās a scam. New Yorkers mind their own business, you can tell someoneās a local when you see something crazy happen and the person doesnāt react at all. - The answer to ādo you like comedy?ā is silence. - a common scam is people will offer you a free mixtape then ask your name/hometown. They will then scribble your name on it and attempt to charge you for it because itās personalised. - Avoid the costumed people at Times Square, also if you see street performers with a group gathered around them..they will stall forever then ask for money. - You can see the Statue of Liberty well enough from the ferry to Staten Island which is free, or you can get guided tours on a ferry also that cost money. If you want to see it up close at Ellis Island itās an insane wait time. - the view at Rockefeller Center is on par with the Empire State Building so go to there in the day and Empire at night. Even at night it was still a 2 hour wait to get to the top of the Empire state. - in Manhattan in the touristy areas especially Times Square they are people with flyers on the corner of every block. So if you need to to stop to check something do it further down the street so these people donāt annoy you. - Coney Island itself is cool but the outskirts surrounding it seemed sketchy as hell. - a lot of people probably wonāt understand your accent so practice talking in an American accent or slowing down your speech. I tried 9 times to order a hot dog and the guy didnāt understand me, as well as taxi drivers kept taking us to 28th street instead of 20th street  Enjoy your trip!

Wait. WP and System did Fan Fic podcasts? Why is this news to me? JTJ, Oh man, it was so, so, so long ago. I must have been maybe 17/18, and I'm 31-going on 32 now. We basically just reviewed Fan Fic's, can't remember if it was two-weekly or monthly but remembered having an absolute blast. I can't remember what Fic's were around at the time, this may have even before the WWE: Legacy run with PB, so I may have still been writing my Mortal Kombat fic at this point. Such good memories, 2005-2010 were my most fun and enjoyable times as part of this community. Neo Zeed, funny you mention, we're possibly eyeing up Texas for a trip in 2024. Will keep you in mind! :cool2:

Drew over 400 and broke our previous attendance records (from shows where we had Vader and Scotty 2 Hotty on the previous record shows). Didnāt have any names from TV. Just our regular crew, a rumble, and great matches/storytelling. Our crew delivered a damn good event last night, and Iām still reeling.

Scary day today, woke up this morning to one of my dogs having a epileptic fit, and then after I calmed her down, and got her back around, she had another one.
So a trip to the vets was booked, her blood pressure, her pulse and everything was fine according to the vet, but they ran a blood test on her, get the results tomorrow.
Hopefully they come back positive, and we can start her on medication, cause if it's anything worse , I won't be able to afford any treatment such as scans for her,and that will break my heart into a thousand pieces.
I'm also hoping it's not the start of organ failure for her, as I've lost a dog (many years ago) to that, and that was fucking depressing as hell, as we weren't afforded anytime to say goodbye to them.

Guys, I canāt even begin to tell you how many fights I almost got into every day working on 35th street. Fights with crackheads and bums. Thereās just so many times a day you can handle being asked for a dollar or a cigarette before snapping. I did meet a cool stripper once though who asked me for a LIGHTER to light a vape which I found remarkable because I didnt know that existed. I in turn returned the favor and asked if I could hit her vape and Iām 99% sure I smoked crack and not weed because I was fucking BLASTED.

Update - The Vets have been back in touch, and confirmed that nothing serious came up with her test results. We can start her on some medication for the meantime, which is a rectal medicine (yay)... But if she has another seizure, then we can start her on medication for the foreseeable. She's calm, sleeping a lot, no huge noticeable changes in her behaviour, just more affectionate at the moment, which I can live with. I know she's getting old, and into that age bracket where these health issues will arise more and more, so I'm prepared a little.

On Sunday I am driving up to Fort McMurray to be on site bright and early Monday to start a new project at work. For those that donāt know, Fort McMurray is the oil & gas capital of Canada and has a certain reputation. Hard to describe, but itās a bit on the rough side and one of those towns that is just packed with labour workers that pull 12 hr shifts and do coke in between because it leaves your system quickly and likely wonāt show up on a random drug test.
Funny thing is: Iāve never been there. It just has a rep across Canada.
Anyway, myself and a co-worker will be rotating in and out every two weeks doing the project. It is a massive job: we are upgrading an entire plant site and networking everything together. We are talking a couple years at least to complete. On top of that, they recently took over another site that we will be bringing online at some point, and have plans to expand into a large plot of land they just purchased.
If this project goes well we are looking at 5-10 years of guaranteed work with this one site. Itās a big deal to say the least. And I got picked to work on it.
The money is good too. We will be getting a wage increase as compensation for working up north, as well as a large LOA payment every week that we are on site. My co-worker and I have already discussed renting an apartment and splitting the cost, then pocketing the remainder.
The site we are working at has given us our own job trailer that they are customizing to meet our needs. We are both going to site together this week to help them design the trailer so it has everything we will need.
Iām anxious but excited. Going to be a wild few weeks while I get into the routine, but Iām looking forward to it. If you guys donāt hear from me for several days I am either hard at work or on a coke binge in the northern tundra of Canada, staring at northern lights and fighting a bear. Either way.

First week up in Fort Mac done. It will definitely take some adjusting. Days are long and you're either going full tilt and working constantly, or sitting around trying to stay awake. I am le tired.
The money will be good and I enjoy the fact that I'm essentially in charge of my own destiny with this project, but it's a weird vibe up there. There's a saying I learned: "nothing gets done fast in Fort Mac." They weren't kidding either.
For example: they wanted us up there in January to get this project started, but we only went up now because of red tape, paperwork, etc etc. And now that we're up there 2 months after they wanted us there, you'd think we would hit the ground running, right? Nope. We spent most of the week doing orientation and cleaning our workspace. Our site contact left Tuesday afternoon and we did next to nothing the rest of the week. I literally spent all day yesterday trying to stay awake until my shift ended, then I drove home. Earned my full day's pay + 6 hours of OT for watching TikTok and drinking coffee.
That will change once we get started on things, and I know there will be absolute hell days where the extra pay won't feel worth it, but until that happens I feel like I'm stealing.
