I don't make graphics anymore, I don't really write anything either, but I HAD to join. What happened to PW, anyway? I know the forums were horrible by the time I'd left; I'm assuming the owners of the main site figured it would be easier to get rid of them than to upgrade them?

Do you guys think we'll ever see the extinction of wrestling? Like ratings go down every year and it just feels like people have basically moved on from it. Like it's regarded the same way as Wheel of Fortune to the masses. Sure there are superfans that will attend, but most people aren't looking to get tickets to that sorta thing, right? Do they do live crowds? But if it's on, it'll do for background noise.

Just thinking about how networks are throwing money hand over fist to them and wondering if there's a ceiling to that. Like will they fall so low that USA will say no and no other tv will find it worth the investment? Future wise of course they still earn consistently 52 weeks a year I suppose.

I don't think wrestling will go extinct any time soon, but I do think it will become more and more of a fringe thing. Not unlike Roller Derby, which was once hugely popular, but has now been incredibly niche for a long, long time.

12 years sober guys. In those 12, I've only had two glasses of wine with my wife on our anniversary. It was those two glasses that made me realize that I'd never be able to drink again, even in moderation and even in special moments. Maybe not as flashy but I also quit smoking and dipping that day too. Of the 3, I miss dipping the most but I have a deeper addiction to the alcohol than the others. I have rarely missed smoking. And I have to make the decision every single day not to go to the store and buy some wine and drink the entire bottle. Shit cannot be easy, but I'm sure you got the right motivations (presuming health, wife, and kiddos) to make it as easy as the hard fight can be. Stay strong, and keep fighting the good fight. Thanks man. Not going to lie, I was super anxious those first 3-4 days. I have slightly high blood pressure. My wife kept me on a regimen of zinc, vitamin D, elderberry, and garlic the entire time. My anxiety medicine started playing with my head though. It started making me dizzy and light headed so I had to stop taking it. Which if you can believe it.. didn’t help my anxiety one bit.

Dude, I have a collection of un-used zinc, elderberry and vitamin C from the beginning of this pandemic when my wife and I went crazy and bought everything we could find. I totally get it. Especially the anxiety part. Nothing is worse then the unknown.

After a little over five years at my current company, I’m finally jumping ship. Even bigger, after nearly a dozen years in the alc bev industry, I’m leaving that behind me.

Me and the family are relocating to Lexington, Ky., in May! It’s a big, meaty role in a new industry and new discipline for me.

Still Marketing (and still a Director), but now running all advertising and creative development!
