I'm working on a new original series for Pro Wrestling Post that I'm either calling "Believe It Or Not, It's Kayfabe!" or "Usefully Useless Wrestling" that's basically going to be a historic review of Wrestlecrap/OSW Review/Botchamania-like material. I'm going to try my best to keep opinion out but include some sense of humor in my writing.
I thought it'd be fun to make a thread out of this and give you guys the opportunity to contribute your worst pro wrasslin' suggestions.
Outline: 1.) Can be a gimmick, promo, match, angle, a wrestler(s) themselves; basically anything or everything you consider to suck... 2.) Provide a Youtube link to anything mentioned if possible. Actually being able to watch it is always better. 3.) Will post a link to any article of the series written here. 4.) Feel free to discuss anything mentioned of course. Thanks to all in advance!!!

Wrestling Society X was wild. The moment I knew it was my favourite promotion was when they had an exploding coffin match between Syxx-Pac and Vampiro. Apparently there was a piranha death match as well? Are there any WSX fans in the house? Paging Dr Baker.

Heidenreich & Snitsky was peak wrestle crap. It was basically the writers going 'oh shit, we have a pregnant wrestler, how the hell do we conclude this story' and in true Pro Wrestling fashion they choose the worst most low brow way imagineable. It was in such poor taste and so shameless that it kind of became funny. Then over on SmackDown we somehow go from Mordecai, the ultimate KKK member and champion of all albinos everywhere to Heidenreich who was last seen talking about his little johnny on some heat segment nobody saw. Or something, I don't really know, he just upped and disappeared. They had that infamous segment with Cole, that no lie is going to be a contender in RT's thread. One of those moments where it just dawned on me what Pro Wrestling is and you just got to laugh along. Their segments together were gold and the biggest injustice is that they didn't become the greatest babyface tag team of the 2000s.
McMahon's millions was fantastic television. Just another in the long line of 'oh damn, they really are running out of ideas'. After faking his death, Vince was literally giving away millions of dollars so people would watch and naturally it all went horribly wrong. The best way was how they killed the entire thing, seemingly paralyzing Vince and nobody asked any questions.
It reminds me of the time Vince just showed up on Raw and said the nWo were dead, we're killing that storyline, it sucked, and stay tuned for what you're all dying to see...HHH.

Are there any WSX fans in the house? Paging Dr Baker . Nope. kashdinero was our resident WSXpert. WSX had some guys I liked (Teddy! Jimmy Jacobs) but I loathed the presentation. It came across as being promoted by and geared towards hyperactive 12 year olds all hopped up on Jolt Cola. I couldn't even be bothered to hatewatch after a few weeks. Well, aside from Matt Classic segments. Agree with 🤯 on Matt Classic being the best thing WSX ever did and it's not even close.

If you've never read it rad the LOLTNA page is a goldmine. lolrasslin.fandom.com/wiki/LOLTNA_HistoryAlso this Which was the same episode as the worst Kevin Nash promo of all-time. How did I stick with this for 21 years?
One thing I will say if Baker was still a WCW fan, I have no doubt in my mind The Total Package would be duking it out with Jeff Jarrett as one of his favourite wrestlers, period. I also think you would have hated everything else on the show, even Disco would have been struggling to draw dimes with his whole Mafia angle.

I also think you would have hated everything else on the show, even Disco would have been struggling to draw dimes with his whole Mafia angle. I've never checked out latter day Luger. May have to rectify that. Oh, I'm sure I would have grown tired of Disco by 97 or 98. That's one of those gimmicks with a limited shelf life. One day it would have simply stopped amusing me. I have no doubt. (see also: Al Snow, Val Venis, The Hurricane, Rikishi, Too Cool) I could have seen myself being a fan of Kanyon and Three Count. But Three Count would have been another "Disco" thing where I would have inevitably grown tired of them one day. I'm guessing latter day Lex will have to wait because that thereallt post is bound to send me down my yearly Dungeon of Doom rabbit hole. No regrets.
