Goff got boned big time by the refs on that interception. Huge hand to the face by Aldon Smith, hard to believe the refs missed that.

I may be a Pats hater but between the Jets owning the Seahawks first round pick, USC scum & failed Jets HC Pete Carroll, Brian Schottenheimer being offensive coordinator and they have a whiner at safety, for the first time ever I AM ROOTING FOR THE PATS NEXT SUNDAY NIGHT! Yes. I turned heel RT . Seahawks are that unlikable. Russell Wilson rules but the things I would do to see Cam Newton truck the primadonna Seattle has in the secondary. I also want as high of a pick as possible in this random upcoming NFL Draft.

That was the most boring close game I've ever watched. Dallas is brutal. Not a lot of big plays but the quality overall was high. A lot of good tackling on defence which is something that a lot of people thought might be an issue with less practice and no preseason.

Always sucks when the refs get involved late like that on a nothing play. Moral of the story is this is a superstar league and if you yell loud enough like Jalen Ramsey, you get that call vs an unknown like Gallup. Hate seeing that clown get bailed out. He got beat.

For the next two weeks, sit back, enjoy back to back defensive shutdowns of two inept offenses and enjoy being 2-1. 49er players can chill out and rest up for the upcoming wars they will be in. You and I will be watching some lousy football(Not by your guys but the Metlife losers) for the next two weeks. Sorry man. We are in this shitshow together. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see one of the WRs on either NY side own Richard Sherman but it ain't it happening. Darnold and Daniel Jones will be on the run often. George Kittle will be saying "What safety?" after this NJ tour.

If the Rams D can play to that level throughout the season they will easily be a play-off team. I really enjoyed the game, not the most exciting but clearly high quality between two should-be play-off teams.
Does anyone else think it's remarkable how good tackling and discipline is this first week? I thought we'd be seeing flags and missed tackles everywhere, the quality has been remarkably good.

They're going to need the offensive line functioning properly though because Goff really isn't capable of doing it himself. Just checked though and was surprised to read that the Rams were 9th in defensive DVOA last season. Thought they were worse than that tbh.
