Of the weekly games it was the one I was least interested in so makes sense. Given hype (and that’s all we have at this point), these two seem the furthest apart in terms of quality other than New England/Miami and everyone wants to know what the new look Pats are.

Tough survivor week one, knowing nothing and a lot of fairly evenly matched teams.

Colts are starting a new QB so I have more interest in what that’ll look like than the same old Bills/Jets, but the difference between the fourth and fifth CBS team is pretty negligible for me (hell the difference between the second and fifth isn’t that big). Colts could be as good as Bills. Don’t really know yet.

And I have wayyyy more interest about New England than I would either NYJ or Buffalo and honestly I’m more interested in Miami than NYJ because Miami feels like they have upward mobility while the Jets feel same old same old coming into the year.

My Prediction:

NFL MVP: Russell Wilson - It's crazy that he's never even finished near the top of the MVP voting. Mahomes is the odds on favorite but Wilson has got to have his season eventually. 

OPOY: Patrick Mahomes - I mean he'll probably win MVP too but maybe the Seahawks play in more close game and Mahomes just does Mahomes thing. 
DPOY: TJ Watt - I like HR's prediction. Watt is going to ball out this year. 
OROY: Jonathan Taylor - I like him behind that offensive line and as a pure runner. 
DROY: Isaiah Simmons - Smart money is Chase Young but Simmons could rack up stats up and down the box score playing at every level. 

Breakout Offensive: Diontae Johnson - I liked him last year and now he has a real quarterback for at least a few games. 
Breakout Defensive: Does Alexander count? He's been great at times and got some recognition so I'll say Savage who should take the leap. 

Comeback Player: I reaaallly like the Steelers as a sleeper team this year , as my picks point to. 
Coach of the Year: Brian Flores - If he gets the Dolphins to .500 and makes them competitive every week he deserves it. 

Super Bowl:
Packers 31 
Steelers 28

And yeah I'd have to say the Jets/Bills game is maybe the least interested I am in general. Don't really care to see either of their rookies , have no stakes in them fantasy wise unless I do a Bills stack on Draftkings and it just don't sound fun. Maybe if Diggs and Allen team up for a couple that'll be a fun new addition highlight but meh.

Even curious about the Panthers and Raiders because I like a lot of guys on the Raiders and want to see if Ruggs can bust one on an average secondary. I guess Eagles and Skins don't interest me much either.

I had him strongly in mind for my pick too, but didn't want to pick a third Steeler. He looks to really have the tools:

Yeah Johnson could a stud. I wouldn’t be shocked if he outproduces Juju. The Steelers in general though - if Ben can be Ben and stay healthy they could take the North.

I didn’t like Campbell coming out and I hate the Rivers pairing. I’d like him better with Brissett I think.

I am in the minority but I am hyped to see the Jets first two round picks. Becton if he can get the weight down and be at all good in passing downs has the makings of a franchise LT and Denzel Mims if his hammy is ready has some awesome catch radius and hands to do damage. Wanna see how good of a drafter Joe Douglas is.

This OT class is really good, want to see if the players live up to the billing. Will be tough with no preseason but I want to see some flashes out of Mekhi Becton this year.

I mean tackles are rarely fun to watch and I wasn’t a fan of Mims coming out , but it’d be cool if Darnold could find a weapon so he could actually show his potential.

Will it hurt less because I expect it to happen? No. But I'm not buying in until they prove they aren't the same team that choked in the playoffs and couldn't get it done twice against a weakened NE team, and also lost a throw away game against Cleveland.

You really should beat the Jets but I know last year was a 1 point victory for you guys and it was due to Vedvik being an awful kicker. Should be a rusty, sloppy game!
