Arteta is struggling.
There are mitigating circumstances in the way the club has been run behind the scenes but something on the field seem really off.
They could really do with a win, which I doubt is coming this weekend

I love the story that United didn't actually want Ronaldo but when it looked like he was going to City they felt they had no choice. The Glazers really are awful - but at least we get something fun out of it this time. It will be quite the reaction when he walks out at Old Trafford again.

If you guys thought Canada has been bad, you should see the US. 0-0 draw in El Salvador in a game that should have been a win, blow a 1-0 lead at home vs you guys and now trail in Honduras 1-0. My goodness, Gregg Berhalter just isn't it. The team has zero life on the field, they play scared despite being the overwhelming favorites to qualify. To potentially not win at all in any of the first three games is just terrible. They did so good in Gold Cup too not too long ago but the supposed A team is completely invisible thus far. Only 1 goal out of these three games potentially.
EDIT: Oh we change formation and get aggressive and equalize within 5 minutes after the break. Oh gee golly whodathunkit?

3-0 win over El Salvador is exactly what Canada needed. Draw against US is good for us, and if they keep up this play the draw against Honduras might not come back to haunt them. Here's hoping.

The fact the subs have gotten US 2 unanswered in Honduras boggles my mind how Berhalter didn't sub out anyone vs El Salvador when we lacked any kind of juice.

3/3 all started from subs. 2 goals off subs and the 2nd goal was setup by a fresh Yedlin superb pass for Pepi to finish. That's what we are talking about. Took it to Honduras.
Pulisic clearly playing hurt and could not finish and Weston McKinnie once again broke COVID protocol and was sent packing so the B team boys picking things up. If Berhalter doesn't have the light bulb shined after this one with some serious questions about formation and guys like Robinson who belong in the starting 11, not sure what else to say.
EDIT: Streak ends, two starters in Pepi & Seabastian Lletget get No.4. Goal diff. big time, big dub.
