Brees felt like he might be the problem before the season and it seems like it might be playing out that way.
How about this game by Waller? He's put the Raiders on his back tonight.

It’s hard to watch Drew like this. I was trying to not saying anything because he’ll surely burn us next week but man - even when he was playing “well” in the first half he was still only completing 50% of his passes. That’s not Brees.

I was trying to not saying anything because he’ll surely burn us next week but man - even when he was playing “well” in the first half he was still only completing 50% of his passes. That’s not Brees. I’m usually optimistic about Brees bouncing back and finding his groove but this really feels like it for him. He didn’t look great last week either. Even though his arm strength has regressed over the last few seasons, he still had pin point accuracy on short/mid range throws. It looks like the accuracy is off so far this season. He’s missed on a lot more throws than usual and it feels like the offense is lacking because of him. I pray he can turn it around but I don’t like our chances next week. Rodgers, Jones, and Adams are going to feast on this defense.

The defense is good , but they depend on the offense scoring and controlling the pace and clock. As shown tonight when they are up against it - they struggle. Jordan can just sit back and rush and they play undisciplined.

And this one is over. Saints started well but once the Raiders figured out the we can’t cover Waller, it’s been easy for them on offense.

It really felt like the Saints weren't all in tonight. They jumped out to an early lead but there was none of the creativity you expect to see from their offence, especially in lieu of Thomas. Hardly any Taysom Hill, still nothing from Sanders. Not much energy from the defence either, got trucked by Jacobs multiple times down the stretch, an embarrassing effort on the Richard TD, a panicked DPI by Jenkins on Ruggs leading to the icing FG. And over 100 yards in penalties for the second straight week.
Apart from Kamara, not a lot to like.

Payton will sort them out, but that was horrible from the Saints. Jacobs destroyed them throughout the game, Carr mostly got good pass protection, they had horrible penalties particularly that ridiculous PI by Jenkins at the end of the game when Carr overthrew, just a horrible performance all round. Kamara looked solid but there wasn't a whole lot outside of that.
I think this week has driven home the importance of the best receivers in the league. Between Watson looking lost without Hopkins (and Murray going off) and Brees looking lost without Thomas, it's difficult to overstate the importance of receivers at that level.

The Saints penalties are alarming for them , for a veteran team with one is considered to be one of the best staffs in the NFL - they have some of the worst penalties and even worse timing.
I'm not saying anything else , because as I said - I'm sure they will come to play next Sunday and the Packers will be the recipients.

Adam Gase refuses to let his QB audible in the huddle. Darnold was not allowed to audible that atrocious 4th down call where Gase threw a fresh back(Adams) in and wanted him to get 1 yard running up the middle. What the fuck? He can audible under Bates Year 1 but Gase is such a big bad signal caller he gets final say in all the calls? Fuck off.
Darnold isn't Peyton Manning but you know what, show some faith in your guy and let him make a chance to diagnose a defense and see if he can adjust rather than run a play you hope works. Fucking bastard.
