Posts might be getting a bit repetitive but man I am impressed by Burrow. He's taking a lot of shots but keeps on fighting.
Good news for fantasy players who drafted the wrong Michael Thomas with the TD there.

Chubb and Hunt ice the game.
Browns have 90 rushing yards over expectation tonight, Bengals haven't solved their run defence problems at all.

A wild game for Burrow. Finishes with 61 attempts, 11 completions to TEs, only one play over 20 yards, knocked down 9 times, 5/5 on fourth down.

ODB gonna have a decent night tonight? Week #2 is his favorite. The TNA knockout and occasional #NWAPowerrr grrrl?

I stopped watching at halftime. I knew from just the first half that the game was over. Joe is trying to do too much because he's young and outside of himself, Mixon, AJ and maybe CJ, he's pretty much out there by himself.
The bigger fail this time around was our rush defense which already looked suspect at times last week. I had a feeling the Browns would be bringing their A game after getting walloped by Baltimore last week.
Oh well. At least there's the annual Lions feast to look forward to this Sunday.

I really enjoyed the game although I don't know what we learned really. The Bengals have much deeper problems than the quarterback position and it's going to take some time. The Browns have this potential to go off offensively if it all comes together. I don't see it as a pivotal game for either franchise, but it was a very enjoyable one. Nick Chubb may be the best back in the league, at least while Saquon is in purgatory. Combine that with Kamara and that's scary - no pair of backs in the league come close currently.

He had 13 targets but came down with only 3 catches for 29 yards. Denzel Ward played well, and a few of Burrow’s throws weren’t perfectly on the money but there were more than a couple that were catchable and the type of play you expect a veteran WR1 to make to help his rookie QB out.

Yeah Green wasn't good , a few of those targets were bad throws but he wasn't exactly helping out his young quarterback either. Even Tee Higgins was making bigger plays.
Also disagree that Burrow tried to do too much. He is already the best player on that offense , is behind probably the worst offensive line in the league right now and was playing his ass off. That's what you want from him , most quarterbacks would have had 7 turnovers in the spot he was put in last night but he was smart , tough and showed why he was taken #1 even in the loss and the few mistakes he did make were excusable.

One of the quirks of the draft setup is that the better college quarterbacks go earlier in the draft and end up behind the worst offensive lines. I agree Burrow looked absolutely fine. Green looked old to me. Even getting up after a tackle last night he just did not look like a young man. A lot of wear and tear on that body.

Burrow gave them every chance to take a lead, his line and drops let him down. I'm seeing him like Jones in that first game, might be solid if they get him some protection, makes some good throws with a smidgen of time.
That being said, I don't see either of these teams making a legitimate push without VAST improvement. Not just saying that as a division rival, just the Browns did their damnedest to lose this game, and Bengals simply out Browns'd 'em, Bungled themselves right down to the basement. Browns running game is about the only pure positive I took from this one (well, OBJ is still OBJ enough), Mayfield is still too inconsistent, Burrow doesn't have the support he needs, and neither defense is striking fear into anyone's heart.

That Baker INT was bad , even more so when you heard Aikman say he fell for the exact same thing last week.
I still root for him and he’s still young but the mental errors like the pick and the grounding have to start happening less. Perhaps more time with Stefanski will help - it takes awhile to wash the Freddie Kitchens stench off you... especially without a real offseason.
The Browns defensive line could be legit too though , that #97 was annoying but he was everywhere.

I think people either misread my post or I misspoke: Joe is doing more than he should have to because of this shit o-line and unreliable targets is what I meant.
Completely confident in Burrow's ability, just not the majority of his teammates. This team needs a lot of work.

Edmunds and Milano are both day to day and not on the IR. That's excellent news. I was worried after Sunday.
Not sure if they both play or not though. Miami might be a good week of rest of one or both of them needs it to prevent further injury. Guess we'll see.
EDIT: Edmunds practiced but was non contact and Milano wasn't there. Might just be precautionary but ehhhh now I'm scared.

Packers go against the Lions , without Kenny Clark which sucks as he is the center piece of this defense and we sucked when he went out last week. Wouldn't be so bad but the Packers have zero depth on the defensive line and could only bring in like 4 linemen. Fucking Adrian Peterson is gonna do it again.
Hopefully we can just control the ball against the Lions. Don't see why we can't again take advantage of a young inexperienced secondary and control the ball.

Chris Hogan is given a simple ball and he can't hang on for the 1st, that ain't on Sam Darnold. People will blame that on him with the completion percentage.

Man Alec Ogletree is done, how the Jets didn't see how bad he was as a Giant is crazy. He looks like he was walking in mud on that play. I would rather see James Burgess back over him.
