The news isnt out yet, but Hulk Hogan is reporting on FB that Road Warrior Animal passed away this morning.
I just read an interview with him talking about Retribution in 21hrs ago, and he tweeted yesterday happy anniversary to his wife.
THis is so sad,ya just never know when its over.

RIP Animal, two of the best promos ever in the Road Warriors. They may have never sold moves for other guys but that was a product of the 80's. We're never going to see another tag team like this again.

RIP Animal.
The Road Warriors remain one of the greatest tag team acts in the history of the business. Tremendous presence, intensity and a fantastic look that transcened cultural and language barriers. They were one of the earliest acts I saw and immediately became synonomous with Pro Wrestling.

Sad news. WWE has reported it now. Only 60 years old. The life of a wrestler takes it toll.
One of the greatest Tag Teams ever and one of my dads' favorite.

Bar none the greatest tag team ever. In fact, he and Hawk set the bar itself. So many teams and even singles stars attempted to duplicate their look and success and still do to this very day.

Sad news indeed. Growing up I loved the Road Warriors/Legion of Doom, always thought they had an awesome look.
My thoughts and prayers with his friends and family.

Just gutted, Doomsday Devices for all up there I guess.
We will never see their like again, they transcended tag teams and should be compared with the likes of Hogan and Flair etc. One of the greatest box office attractions of all time. Animal himself had possibly the best powerslam in the business and had scary strength like pressing Hogan over his head, sandbagging and all.

Sad to hear part of my childhood die 😢
Short quick story back in the early 90s my uncle and his family were on the way to Thailand for vacation they are in LA airport, and he and his family saw the Road Warriors at the airport just say hi to each other which is pretty cool.

Man that sucks , Road Warriors are probably my favorite team of all time. There was nothing like the experience of seeing these jacked up , face painted dudes coming to the rings with shoulder pads and spikes for the first time. Instant fandom for most and they backed it up by just being one of the most brutal and forceful teams in the ring.

They've won every PW Tag Team Countdown ever for a reason. Memorable look. Influential. Hugely over. Big draw. Great finisher. Successful in multiple promotions and on two continents.
